mukhang me chance ata ako. Mukhang positive naman initial interview. If ever kaya pumasa ako sa mga succeeding interviews, pwede ko kaya ipagpalit JO ng Accenture? Accenture or DKS..........hmmmnn

sana ma process na agad next step para malaman ko na result kung pasok ako, before ako i pressure mag sign ng contract sa ACN.

Anong difference ng benefits ng contractual kesa sa full-time dto sa DKS? Same lang ba? May allowance din ba? Hired na ako for contractual, but i don't know if I should accept kasi okay din yung offer nung isang company sakin.

Is DKS open to job applicants with SAP accounting experience? Or is DKS using a different system other than SAP.

Uhmmm, kaka verbal offer lang sa akin kanina, medyo mababa ang offer if titignan sa kabuuan (in a span of 15 years) compared sa current compen package ko na may guaranteed 10% annual increase. But syempre, DKS is DKS. Question lang, based sa previous years, ilan ang percentage increase sa salary ng average employee?

^Maybe part of resiliency strategy? I think the concentration of the bank operation is with DKS. If DKS gets busted due to calamities like storms and stuffs, DB worldwide will be affected. I'm just thinking it that way.

On the other hand, DKS creates jobs for efficiency. If it's true that there is retrenchment in DKS, we won't be seeing people here posting about their job applications being entertained.

Hi, Just want to ask some advice about accepting the job for DKS as an Associate under Financial Reporting Group.

I just had my informal job offer via phone call this afternoon and I am having second thoughts whether to accept the offer or not. I am currently a Senior Associate in SGV & Co and has more than 3 years of experience in external audit. My dilemma is that, I am hesitant to leave the firm because of the opportunities it will provide me on a long term perspective. By January 2013, I will be offered an overseas assignment in Australia for 4 months to handle a major insurance broker client their with the Ernst & Young Sydney Team and on the same year, I will be promoted to Associate Director (Manager) - an 80% chance, unless I screw up on my performance. My primary reason of leaving the firm is because of the low salary. I applied to DKS because I know they provide a higher compensation package as compared to other companies. However, they've offered me a salary below my expected salary. However, I am also attracted of joining DKS not only because of the salary but also the new experience that it will provide me, new training, new opportunities esp. on the DKS Academy they've mentioned and the CMA Certification sponsorship which I am planning to take soon. I have also plans of going abroad after gaining 5-6 years of experience here in the Philippines.

Please help me decide on this. Would really appreciate thoughts from others especially the experienced ones.

Gaano po ba katagal ang processing ng written contract? Kapag ba na verbal offer na, may chance pa ba na bawiin ng DKS yung offer nila? Napapraning lang sa pag hihintay. Hindi ko alam kung dapat na ba ako magpasa ng resignation letter o hindi muna.

Hi Raychelle, based on my experience and from chats with peers (I haven't been with DKS for a very long time though so I may not paint an accurate historical data), it ranges anywhere from 10-30%. It depends not only on your performance, but on the bank's performance as a whole. So just hope and pray that DB's earnings will be okay this year, but it's looking as if every investment bank has been performing below expectations because of the difficult financial conditions. I don't have an idea what increase is like during difficult times.

Off topic: Thank you DKS for your generosity this past week! FYI, some employees who were severely affected by floods were arranged to be checked-in (from Tues to Thurs/Fri; arrangement was made possible upon request) at Manila Pen, Mandarin Oriental and Somerset, with meal (dinner + breakfast) and laundry charged to the company
