can anyone suggest a venue that's big enough for about 600 people? grabe sobrang last minute ang wedding preparations namin and we're getting married na on january 2008. i've called most of the hotels such as makati shang, century park, mandarin oriental, manila penn pero they are all booked. napakarami kasing kamag-anak ng bf ko nakakastress talaga. i'm still waiting for le pavillon's proposal pero that's it. wala na talaga akong alam na iba..

sunnysan, you can check out PTA Tent - Clamshell2 which is located in Intramuros, it's a block away behind Manila Cathedral and it's in front of San Agustin Church. It's an indoor tent venue and can accommodate up to 850 pax. It's old rate is 46k which includes use of the venue for 12 hours, use of aircon, wide screen, stage/platform, basic sound and lighting system, 150 pcs of monobloc chairs.

Can you please send me a copy of the rate for the glass garden? I'm seriously considering that venue since it is nearer to our place compared to Fernwoods. Gusto ko kasi ng garden wedding but I also don't want to worry about the weather. Thanks.

di kasi kami makakita ng kaya naming reception venue..ang budget lang kasi namin for the reception, is 30 thou.. lahat lahat na yun... huhu.. been browsing the net, made many cals already.. pero hindi kaya ng budget....

baka naman may suggestions po kayo..

You might have to rent a clubhouse, then just have it catered by Queensland (they have cheap Catering rates).

Or if you don't have that many guests, have it in a restaurant nalang

Hi, I just want to share sa forum esp to those preparing for thier wedding. I got married last May 7, 2008. And I truly recommend Gazebo Royale, they have Phoenix Avenue that can accomodate up to 300 and champagne hall for more guests. We took Phoenix Ave, our ceremony was held there also. And the venue was so great, we had a wonderful wedding! Staff are friendly too.

hi em. Try Gazebo Royale. We had our wedding there last May 7, 2008. Venue is truly wonderful. And yes, mas makakatipid ka if dun na rin i hold un ceremony. We had Christian wedding so dun na rin ang ceremony namin. We only paid additional 5,000 for the ceremony set up.

hello po, i'm new here...i'm getting married on december 2009. i had a hard time booking the church we originally wanted in alabang, and so we settled for st. alphonsus mary de liguori parish (magallanes church) in makati. problem is the reception. i called many places na, like the loft, blue leaf, le pavillion, manila polo club, ang mamahal lahat ng venue e. what else could you suggest? na mga pang 250 pax? we're trying to budget our money kase e. siguro budget ko for the the venue is 50 thou max and for the catering is 600 php per head... thank you po!
