AKO, I really hate the announcer guy. Yun bang malaki ang tiyan na puti na ang buhok na nagsasalita during the Lotte shoot out. Hindi ko maintindihan ang kanyang sinasabi. Parang siya lang ang nakakaintindi. Ang masama pa, gustong-gusto niya pang magsalita. Nakakainis! I also never expected na bawal na pala ang half-time performances during the finals. Siguro naman may dahilan sila, pero come to think of it, they just spoiled the fun. Agree?

When CSB started with NCAA they were already prejudice agains us...what do they want us to do so we can be accepted? Only 10 performers...done; no PBL players in our team (kahit yung ibang teams may pbl layers)...done. Now we're in the finals already ang dami pa ring sinasabi...when will the people from CSB negotiate with the NCAA board para ma-accept naman and give us the same privilages and respect as the other schools?

We have to tolerate these "abnormal" decisions. The ends justify the means daw when it comes to banning the pep squads in performing in order to maintain peace and order in the finals. Sad to say, they underestimated the refined and decent Benildeans. Akala siguro nila starter tayo ng gulo sa NCAA eh wala naman lahat ng involved sa gulo sa finals eh!! Why impose a ruling that does not apply to us. Baka pwede pa sa ibang mga Baste diyan but Benildeans do not "start" fights!!!
Puro pulitika kasi nasa loob ng NCAA committee na yan. And it's the same committee who never helped Benilde when one of our cheerleaders got harassed by a pervert Letranite player. They just played Pontius Pilate about the incident and the way they run the NCAA makes me disgusted. Sana may commissioner na tayo para iwas bias decisions!!!

I hate them too, they even cheated on the Blazers' score down by a point in one of the CSB vs. UPHR games! Its a good thing that God sticked to the team who are supposed to be the winners in that match....the BLAZERS!

Di na bale, at least CSB is in the Finals and eventually...with CSB in NCAA...eventually mapapaganda uli ang unti-unti nang nadudurog na NCAA. Lead the way,Blazers!!

You're right! We came this far and there's no turning back. Kahit ano pa ihagis nila sa atin, we will take it in stride and just count their mistakes! One thing they forgot is that they can never underestimate a heart of a Lasallian!!!

Actually, I tend to agree with the NCAA decisions regarding the restrictions on the cheering and the PEP squads...

...I think its not that they don't trust the Benildeans capability to control their ranks, but on the contrary, they most probably is more wary of the capability of their own students to control their actions...

...remember the JRC-Letran incident.

Maybe you are confident about the restraint Benildean are capable of, but are you that confident about other NCAA schools?

Maybe you are confident about the restraint Benildean are capable of, but are you that confident about other NCAA schools?

You have a point there. But they should know better and prevent such incidents. A simple half-time performance suspension does not necessarily mean a stop to the violence in watching a championship basketball. If San Sebastian was that "violent", they should have started it since monday when they lost pero they were decent naman. It shows how peaceful a game can be even if there is a performance. The end doesn't necessarily justify the means. Peace!

I doubt is the board will come up with a selective ruling. That is, they will allow the half-time cheering during a CSB-SSC games while disallowing the same during a JRC-Letran game. They will just disallow the half-time cheering all together.

It's not that I'm happy with the decision, it's just that given the situation now in the NCAA, I understand the board's prudence.

That's what Benilde has been doing for the past three seasons. Tanggap lang kami ng tanggap ng suntok at sampal kaliwa't kanan pero may hangganan rin mga yan! They can assert all they want. We proved a point by winning the NCAA crown without any untoward incidents.
During the victory party sa Benilde Gym, inamin ng isang rep ng LSGH that the NCAA was doing everything to put us down, hit us with any offense we did but we only had one incident, and that was when Al Magpayo got elbowed by a UPHR player in the final four. Nothing happened afterwards dahil behaved pa rin Benilde! The NCAA committee really wants our heads on a stick! They underestimated the Lasallian spirit within us. At sana, sa mga susunod na seasons, we would expect these rules to disappear and provide a better committee!
But right now, NCAA committee SUCKS!!!

so that's how the NCAA board play their dirty games on the Blazers, the truth always prevails! God made ways to spoil their plans of putting down the Blazers which led them to victory instead of defeat. Thanks be to God.
