Guys, may job offer na ako sa accenture as Server Operator, sa monday na contract signing ko and binanggit na rin sakin ang compensation package ko, much better sa current company ko US Autoparts. i just want to ask after ko ba mag sign ng contract starting date na ang susunud? or may mga background investigation pa?
nakalagay na rin sa contract mo yung start date mo... then you will fill out a form, indicating your details, previous/current employers, references, etc.. after 2 to 3 days of signing a contract they will be conducting background check.. kung sino yung recent supervisor/s and references na nilagay mo dun sa forms yun ang kokontakin nila.
Hi! Join the i-Refer promo! Everyone who will be referred by me(ciprcsb1) will get a 50% share of what I'll get when successfully hired at Accenture. Please pm me for more details. Thanks
@munchy, thanks po for the info, pero di po kaya baliktad? signing contract then BI? though wala naman akong problem sa background ko, ang gumugulo lang sakn is, another process again, usually di ba once you sign a contract then after that you will send a notice to your supervisor sa current company mo, meaning if you failed your BI then your contract will revoke?
I was offered with the same job, maganda po ba? I am a experienced IT professional in the server and security management. But then they mentioned na application support ang magiging work ko dito although they need kasi a deep background in server administration.
i was called up a while ago for the position of project manager.. how's life in accenture nowadays? also the perks/benefits.. i've read the entire thread now and it seems the latest info came from 2007 and thats 5 years old info already. hope somebody from accenture replies... thanks in advance.
btw, im over 30 now and i've got 10 years IT experience under my belt. if i transfer to accenture, what would be the average age of employees there? i need this info for me to be able to have an idea if this company is really worth to stay (maybe until retirement) or just a stepping stone to other big companies. i'll appreciate much if somebody could answer me this.. it's a very serious matter for me because as a family man (with house to pay for), i don't want to regret my decision should i choose accenture over my current employer. btw, i have no problems with my current employer.. pay is good and the career path is also great in my case.. its just that i need a bigger income to support my family.
if you are looking for a company to resign, I think Accenture is the best in that category. Accenture is more on a long term perspective, they reward skills + loyalty with ridiculously high amount of compensation especially in terms of performance bonuses. I'm only 22 and I'm in the verge of resigning because I wasn't thinking about my retirement at this age. But I am sure that I will be back in this company for my retirement.
Average age differs. 25-30 y/o are the usual for mid positions.
Are there any shifting schedule when you are going to work at their General Accounting team?
Question: How does the average age of employees considered a factor?
A friend of mine was offered a position similar to what was offered to you, and it would be a rank higher than his current position. His problem was, Accenture offered him a salary that is 32% of what he is currently getting. In short, higher position (more responsibilities) but with lesser pay. Accenture boasts their employment benefits which I personally think are great, however most of them are those things that you never may want to use (such as insurance and hospitalization). Given the chance, I'd probably explore the opportunity and for the decision to accept the offer, I'd cross the bridge when I get there.
sino gusto mag-pa refer sa ACCENTURE? kanit anong position ok lang..
PM nyo ko tpos bigay ko sainyo email add ko..
cheers.
the reason i asked for the average age is because i wanted to know if there are really people sticking to ACN even at age 45 to 50.. i don't intend to sound racial but i just wanted to know if ACN is really just for the young generation (as perceived by many) or a company where there are employees (R&F/Managerial positions) who choose to attain their retirement age at ACN.. for me (others may disagree with my opinion ofcourse), this is crucial especially if you want to transfer from a company who pays good up to your retirement age to Accenture..
btw, thanks for your input though. i appreciate it. however, don't belittle the insurance and hospitalization benefits.. believe, we may never want to use it because we never intend to get hurt or hospitalized (or worse even die) but these are very crucial.. trust me coz i work for an insurance company.. just like probably your car, you pay for insurance annually where you don't even want something bad to happen to your car thus your premiums just go to the income of the insurance company.. funny thing is that a lot of filipinos would prefer paying for their house and/or car insurance, but they don't have life insurance.. sad but true..
@spongklong The age range question was a good question, actually. I just needed to know your reason, and upon reading it, I find it a sound one. And no, I am not belittling insurance and HMO benefits, I said they're the ones I'd never want to use. I've always wanted to have these benefits, since its good to have them and not need them, than to need them but don't have them.
no probs!
looking forward to answers to your queries as well, i hope guys and gals from the company can share some inside information
hi guys, sino gusto mag refer sa akin? PM niyo na lang details niyo or kung gusto magpa follow-up.
i came from accenture....lasted there for 4 years...i resigned 2009 because of health reasons (4 years straight kasi na night shift ako) so nagsawa ako sa night shift...sa finance ako galing...i will tell you this...I shouldn;t have resigned from Accenture...If I stayed there, I could have been a Manager now...well that's my guess..kasi mabilis lang promotion and you get a chance to jump from one fortune 500 client to another so addition to experience din un..unfortunately I couldn't go back hehehehe I dont know why pero nagtry ako hinde na ako tinanggap...anyway I am in a good position naman ngayon and I get to have the same benefits as a team lead in accenture...the best time of my working life is when I am in accenture and I am proud to say so....even though resigned na ako 3 years ago heheheh
