is it true that fullybooked will have their own bookstore building in near market2?
It will be a five/5 floor building sa Bonifacio Global City, according sa full colored paged advertisement na nababasa ko sa The Philippine Star.

Babae ang may-ari ng NBS, at apo yata nung may-ari ng NBS yung operations manager ng Powerbooks.

I went back to being 100% loyal to Powerbooks, aside from cheaper sila, good service talaga. They would even call or text me once available na yung book na pina-reserve ko. Sometimes they text me pa for recent happenings or events.

I used to buy at Fully Booked because mas magaganda naman talaga covers nila, never mind if the title was pricier than the one they sell at Powerbooks (I think they carry UK versions, am I right?) kaso nabad-trip talaga ako sa GM nila. He interviewed me for a job but he was so antipatiko maski may hitsura sya, total turn off talaga. I have worked with several big companies na rin and this guy was just so unprofessional when he interviewed me. I guess he just didn't have the guts to tell me that he couldn't afford the salary I was asking. Malas lang nya, he lost a customer, I buy books more than I buy clothes pa naman.

    Both

Im a bookworm so i go for both but so far i really like Fully Booked Serendra, never mind the crew,i really have the say about their staff but thats another story. The store have a lot of book collections that i dont usually see on other stores sometimes its a vice versa, hmmm promise i could live there with all the books around. And i have to agree that they sell books which are UK release, kaya lang badtrip lang talaga ko sa staff nila dun eh,sunod ng sunod as if i will do something bad.The price of the books are usually cheaper than Power books.

Power books on the other hand well they have titles which i could also see on the shelves of NBS,but the staff are very warm, nice and approachable. And they let you scan their books, seat comfortably on the coaches as long na bibilhin mo siya noh,

Loyalty.depende kasi eh ako pa naman every payday dapat may libro na nabibili so far at least 2 books per pay day.Kung saan ako bibili depende kung sang mall ako nandun,so far for the last month sa Serendra ko palage so it means fully booked.

Not your ordinary bookstore is also good, kaya lang ang mahal i go their for their coffees eh while reading the book.

I really had a bad experience with the staff of Fully Booked Serendra branch. One time I went there, wearing long sleeves after a job interview, panay greet nila sa akin then they did not ask me to leave my bag dun sa baggage counter nila. I need my bag kasi nandun ang book and Mp3 player na gagamitin ko while drinking coffee at their Strabucks branch (ganda ng branch nila dito promise!). So dun lang ako browse lang nang browse then inom pa ng coffee sa Starbucks. Then the next day, I wore a decent but simple polo shirt with jeans. And to my shock, sinabihan nila ako to leave my bag dun sa baggage counter. And it is the same bag that I used the day before when I was wearing long sleeves. Feeling nila na since they stand on elite land, they can judge their customers like that. Nanghihinayang ako sa branch na ito. Sayang maganda pa naman but because of these bunch of mata pobres, mabibwiset talaga ang experience mo dito.

fullybooked, if you just want to spend your own time looking around without being bothered by the staff. Maganda yung arrangement ng books. Recommended sya if you're just there to see what's new. Yes, mas maraming versions nung mga books nila (uk, us, different publishers/editions). Di ko napansin yung price if it's different or mas mura. Di sila madalas mag-sale. Another thing... most of their books don't have plastic, i dunno why, feeling mo yung bibilhin mo may fingerprints or folds. You can browse nga...but there's no place to sit down sa ibang branches. Well, they have a free newsletter: which is very informative... especially with new releases, reviews, etc. Saka, if you ask for a book, they can offer agad kung may stock sila sa ibang branches (if you don't mind going there).

Powerbooks: sale sale sale. Madalas sila. Yes, accomodating. Some stores have magulo setup, can't tell if it's general fiction or mystery/thriller. You can also find best sellers in different shelves, tables, pillars, walls, all access. Maraming branches. May places to sit down and browse...unahan nga lang. Mas masa sya sa fully booked... Isa pa...they use paper bags! environmentally conscious!

extra: National Bookstore - SEPTEMBER!!! CUT PRICE BOOK SALE!

me too! mabait naman staff sa both bookstores based on my experience. kahit yung sa serendra, sobrang inasikaso kami (i was with my niece and sister) that time.

hmm..both naman are ok. i loove powerbooks because it has a very warm atmosphere, friendly staff, comfy seats etc and i love fully booked because of their wide selection.

pero because of the opening of fullybooked in bonifacio high street, i'm leaning towards F.B. Not only do they have great books in the said branch, they also have rare/ hard-to-find cds and whatnot.
