hi josep...i really think it helps if u have a theme.it will b easier 4u and ur coordinator (if u have 1)planning.there r plenty of ideas kc, but if u have a theme, mas madali makachoose...im getting married dis sept, i started planning since october, and having a theme is making it easier, and more exciting (f i may say=)) for me.btw, mine is chocolate...so frm the invites 2 d favors, my sweet, yummy surprise.
Ours is Zen.
Ours were Dogs. Because my husband and I are both dog lovers. We had the our table numbers changed to dog breeds and we had dog figurines scattered over our centerpieces. Our cake have dog paws all around it. People were laughing when instead of table numbers they were called as "Can the doberman group stand up for picture taking with the couple" hehehe..
i think it makes it easier if you have a theme but not necessary. if let say you already have a color scheme then the theme can revolve around it and the rest will simply fall into place. with theme = good. without theme = good as well.
hello. our theme is filipiniana. and we are asking our guests to come in filipiniana clothes. it would be fun if someone comes in a bahag costume, hehe

wow nice themes!!! ang galing nyo naman mga mag isip I like your ideas... ano kaya ang magandang theme para sa wedding ko??? I was not considering having a theme until I read your ideas! Isip din ako ng something unique. I also read na pag may wedding theme ka mas organize yung wedding mo at mas nasusunod mo yung budget mo kasi mas madaling mag decide kasi limited na agad yung choices mo![]()
aheheh at first magulo yung theme namin but with the help of friends (my planners too) we we're able to come up with a fun theme! aheeh CARICATURES!!! our caketopper will be from microdwarf, yung invites namin may caricature namin, instead na table numbers we will be using our fave movies (my H2B and i love watching movies din kasi) tapos magpprint ako ng posters ng fave movies namin tapos papalitan ko yung face ng mga characters ng movies na yun with our faces (caricature style) aheheh la ***. basta puro caricatureness lang aheheh
ours will probably be beach-themed. we both love the beach kasi. as in. maybe lots and lots of shells scattered...
wala!!!! color theme lang...nyehehehe. our guests is mixture of foreign blood and as much as possible, we want to have a "touch of every culture".so there...
color theme lang at saka crystals.....i'm having lavander and mauve, kasi summer naman ang wedding, mas maganda lalo na sa outdoor shots...tapos i'm going to make my own crystal bouquet....and a mini one for the maid of honor (no bridesmaids) since next year pa naman i have the time to do it...am just waiting for the swarovski pearls and crystals to come in the mail....
crystals din for the cake topper...probably buy glass stones (or whatever they call it at ikea for the table decorations....
hehhehehe utimate bling bling
wow. nice themes. pede ng magstart ng wedding coordination business ah. the caricature theme is very creative. and that DOG theme -- awesome. i can only picture the smiles on your guests faces when their table names were announced
back to topic: YES, you will be helping yourself a lot if you have a wedding theme. it already limits your choices and expands your creativity. If you'll have a beach wedding, naturally, you'll have seashells, sands, turquoise and blue color, starfishes, etc. your invites, printed materials, church flowers, souvenirs, reception decors will revolve within this theme. it is like creating something that has continuity.
Color theme and to have guests wearing formal attire (a gown and suite or barong) coordinated with our color theme. there is no problem with my family, relatives and friends... kasi ang gandang tingnan... nung kasi brothers ko nag gawa sila ng dresscode *** tipong kapansin pansin sa invitation!
To spend a huge amout for the photographs and food!!!
i do not have any idea because 3 yrs or up pa ko bgo sa stage na yan
