ask from those who has been there how is it like there
oh, ok. what do you want to know? what month are you coming over?![]()
wer also going there this December...any suggestions where to go?![]()
Vancouver, my favorite city, is a natural park. There's a lot to see in the city itself-- the Expo Center, Stanley Park, and plenty of Museums to occupy your whole day. For city night life, go to Robson St. and Gastown. The Capilano Bridge (few miles outside downtown) is a must see. You could also take a ferry/seabus and visit nearby islands. Don't miss North and West Vancouver. Further away is lovely Victoria. Seattle (American side) is just few hrs. away.
HEY HEY HEY!!!!
i live in Vancouver
sino-sino pupunta? where are you guys planning to go? wanna give me a holler? where are you staying?
maganda pumunta on spring time. fall palang ngayon, eh..it's getting really damn cold. pero it's almost like vancouver's been painted red nanaman...with all the beautiful trees changing its colors na...
kung spring time, wow...all the flowers are blooming naman. Queen Elizabeth's the best place to see thousands and thousands of tulips in different colors...
o basta..i know you're gonna enjoy it here.
i'm going next april---that would be spring there, diba?
I'm so glad to hear that spring is theh best time to go there, but i hope it wont be too cold. I'm really going forward to it.![]()
advance happy trip!!!
excited na'ko para sa'yo. hehe...
just one more thing, kahit na april yun..don't expect it to be warm at all. kahit ako nilalamig pa at that time! just bring any thick clothing. that'll do you good..
thanx!Originally posted by mAgiC007

just one more thing, kahit na april yun..don't expect it to be warm at all. kahit ako nilalamig pa at that time! just bring any thick clothing. that'll do you good..and thanx for the tip, i'll keep that in mind. By the way have you been to the Capilano bridge? I've heard so much bout it kasi from the ppl who've been there
the capilano suspension bridge is ok but not really that exciting. grouse mountain is a bigger attraction. a big cable car takes you all the way to the top (3700ft.) where you can get a great view of the city. it's also one of the best places to go skiing if you're so inclined. it's only a few kilometres past the suspension bridge so you might as well go to both. you can even do them both in one afternoon!
for me the best time is summer. there's so much to do in terms of outdoor recreation! it attracts a lot of tourists in december so there are lots of things to do indoors at that time of the year. my favourite places to go to are Science World, the Planetarium and the Aquarium. april naman...well, the flowers are in bloom.it's a really pretty city year-round and i'm sure you'll like it no matter when you come. take the Seabus to North Van. the view of the city from across is really nice. and don't skip Victoria either. it's a 2 hour ferry ride one-way but it's really worth it. the weather can be really fickle though: sunny and warm one day, wet and chilly the next!
the best advice i could give u guys is to bring your rain gear. it rains from October to June so expect it to be damp! it's usually just a light drizzle though but it starts and stops throughout the day. shouldn't stop u from going around as long as you have a hat/umbrella/hooded waterproof jacket and a good pair of shoes. no sandals please! you'll freeze!
Yup, go first to Capilano Suspension Bridge, then hang around The Trading Post for a while, and spend the rest of the afternoon exploring Grouse Mt. nearby. Enjoy a cup of capuccino in one of their open-air restaurants with the super vista before you.
If you're an outdoor person, summer would be the best time to visit Vancouver (or BC in general). It's the place to be.![]()
for those who live in vancouver...taga-sa'n kayo dito?![]()

common knowledge naman yon diba? they're always saying how the trains and buses run right on schedule. diba nanalo pa sila ng Best Public Transit System in North America in 1996 and 1997?(more info on vancouver! it has reliable public transport
)
anyway, mail me na lang so i can answer ur questions. malayo-layo na yan sa topic eh. baka masita ako!![]()
