wedding souvenirs.. throw it or keep it?

hi!! i'm still confused of what to give as souvenirs for our wedding.. i did a survey (within my friends only) if they are the type who keep or throw souvenirs.. others do & others don't .. they say it depends on what type of souvenir it is.. what can you guys suggest? i'm thinking sana of something edible (like mini fondant cakes), para hindi sayang.. pero gusto ko din sana na it's something na they could keep.. what type of souvenirs ba ang maa-appreciate talaga ng guests? kahit pang-girls nalang kasi men in general don't really keep souvenirs naman (hehehe).. pls help.. thanks!

Ako mas gusto ko yung functional na souvenir. Pero baka sa mga Sponsors na lang namin bigay yung mga genun.

Since December ang wedding namin, Holidays is in the air! Gusto ng husband-to-be ko, related sa Christmas. While browsing the internet, I saw this snowglobes. Ganda nya at perfect for the season. So, para sa mga guests, yun bibigay namin.

Sa mga Primary sponsors, baka thermal mugs with their name at mini fondant cakes.

Sa mga Secondary, may naisip na ako, kalimutan ko lang. nakita ko kasi yun sa 168 mall one time na pumunta kami. May memory gap kasi ako ngayon, sorry.....

Sa flower girls and bearer boys, wind chimes. Cute kasi para sa kanila.....

Yun lang.....actually, gusto ko sana talaga yung parang swiss knife na spoo, fork, knife at pang bukas ng lata ang tools. Kaso mahal kasi....kaya we settled with this. at isa pa, hindi sya pang christmas...

Its up to you naman. kung gusto mo, ok lang din yung fondant cakes lang. pero pag naubos na, nothing to remind them na galing sila sa kasal, di ba?

Sa men, ang nabasa ko sa iba, mas prefer nila ang food na souvenir, unlike sa girls.....hehehehehe........

mas maganda or mas appreciated daw ng mga lalake yung cake na lang daw ibigay kesa yung mga souvenir na pang display.

mas practikal yung bibigyan mo sila ng food as souvenir. pero pag ubos na......

its up to you pa rin naman.....

nakita ko yung website nila (OAsweets).. pero sa may lagro pa yata yung shop.. try ko puntahan para makita ko din yung mga products.. sa january next year pa naman yung wedding, pero gusto na din sana madaming options kung anong magandang souvenir .. yun hindi itatapon ng mga guests after ng wedding or something edible para hindi masayang. may wedding fair sa ortigas (crown plaza) tomorrow til sunday.. if you have time sana makapunta din kayo.

souvenir kasi pag sa mga lalake meron ok lang at merong gusto naman.pag sa mga babae mas like nila yun. *** iba naman instead na souvenir mini foundant cake ang bini bigay nila.ok din naman un o kaya *** bottle na may message.meron *** design na frosted bottle maganda rin sya para sa mga lalake.

if i'll have my way, i'll just give tokens to the wedding entourage.
in this case, it'll be nice & worthy of keeping such as watches, cufflinks, ties or small electronic items.

sabi ng coordinator ko, you have 4 choices... something to eat, use, display or donate. if you choose any of the 1st 3... you have to decide... if everybody gets one, one per family or ladies only. if for donation naman kasi noone will dictate how much ang ibibigay mo...

hi yxor, i was at crowne plaza last saturday, d supplier i was telling was not there, i visited my bro, photographer sya and he had a booth there. other reason y i was there is to have a souvenir photomagnet, free kc un during fair, kaso nga wala *** clang booth don. anyway, i got ur pm, nagreply narin ako dun. thanks.....

This website is giving away free invitations and souvenirs- www.weddingmagazine.online. Paki check na lang. I'm married na eh so I do not know the mechanics. During my wedding, I gave away brooches and sterling silver necklaces with sapphire pendants. these were custom made by Philippine Treasures in Baguio. Each one costed P250. It was very expensive but worth it because I still see the ones I have given these to who still wear them.
