I haven't processed my membership with OWWA yet. I'll do so in the coming weeks or a few days before I go home to Manila so that I can have my OEC as well.
I'm starting to get confused on this one....why less than 2 weeks or 14 days for the return ticket....does SG have a new rule for the issuance of tourist visas? isn't it that the usual standard is 30 days?

Kaya others suggest 2 weeks stay.

You should get your OWWA as soon as you arrive. OWWA membership entitles you to insurance benefits.

Meron kaming kakilala na namatayan, tapos, walang OWWA. Walang nakuhang death benefits.

    =)
I agree! Tapos, cut-off pa by 2pm!

as long as it's within the bounds of Singapore immigration laws, wala naman silang pwedeng kwestyunin....

my family visited us here at SG last year for 3 weeks and they never told me anything about it...same goes for the sister of my friend who just flew back to Manila last Sunday....

Hi inquire ko lang po how much is the cheapest solo occupancy of a hdb or whatever you call that has a kitchen inside the unit? And where to search over the internet? Thanks.

Ok..

Note: Invitation letter is not required by law to travel per my understanding but it can corroborate your long days of stay in Singapore..We all have rights to travel anyways, so passport at return ticket lang dapat..

Yung social visit pass na itatatak ng SG official is 30 days as per standard recently..Kesyo 14 days, 15 days, or 30 days return ticket mo, tatatakan ka ng SG IO ng "30 days to stay"..You can extend for another 30 days i think pag nag U-Turn ka (e.g from Malaysia.)

    bold are mine....

are you working on the presumption that I don't know what those terms mean? FYI, I've been here in SG for the past 3+ years thus I know the intricacies of the process....

as far as I know, the immigration official won't be thoroughly asking you about such issues UNLESS you've been here before and you're last visit is very close to the date of your latest visit....

for first timers, I don't think it would be a problem....actually, I felt sorry for my new officemate here who bought a 14-day return ticket because some smart dude from his former office told him that it is the mandated number of days to stay for tourists....he is now compelled to go back to Manila after 14 days which falls on a workday when in fact, he could have purchased a 30-day ticket that would fall on a weekend....less hassle IMHO....

Flat is yung buong unit sa isang HDB..So sa isang flat pwede 2+1 (2 rooms plus storage rooms), 3 rooms, 4 rooms, etc.

there are 1-BR flats out there although they are quite rare...but the price ranges from 1.3k to 1.5k at the very least.....

I don't give a sh1t as well to the informations you are giving as I'm providing my insights based on first-hand experiences of my relatives and friends who came here......I even had the priviledge of asking the said informations from a colleague who arrived just yesterday.....fresh first-hand info, right?

regarding those that were questioned, maybe they were part of those exemptions that I have posted above (UNLESS you've been here before and you're last visit is very close to the date of your latest visit).....I don't need to check pinoysg.com regularly to know what's happening around....I've had 3 friends who were first-timers here in SG that arrived last March and they also never mentioned anything about those supposed craps by the SG immigrations officers....they were even of the opinion that SG immigration is much much better than RP immigration....

also, I assume you knew that rebooking a flight doesn't come for free , right? heck, budget airlines doesn't even allow rebooking......
