hi sir rene. ask lang din ako kung anong ok na isp sa gozum street san bartolome novaliches.

mostly for facebook, email, at youtube gagamitin. sa ngayon usb stick lang gamit ko (sun or globe). pwede na for browsing medyo mabagal lang sa youtube.

di pa rin ako decided kung wired or wireless. yung wired kasi sa pldt may kasamang landline na di naman namin kailangan. sabi naman nung isang tech na nag-ayos sa manugang ko di raw gaano reliable yung router with wi-fi ng pldt kasi bagong labas pa lang, madami daw issue. minsan iniisip ko rin yung mga myfi device para portable din at pwede more than 1 device makagamit kaya lang wala akong idea kung ok ba yun or yung mga tipong wi-max na lang.

yung signal ba ng wireless affected ng mga eroplano? madalas kasi may dumadaang eroplano sa may amin, may nagsabi nakaka-affect daw ng signal.

may nag-alok na rin na destiny cable + dsl nung nagpakabit ng cable manugang ko kaya lang parang nakabasa ako na di ok ang tech support. please advise. salamat po!

AFAIK, basta may signal sa service area, gagana ang WIMAX Modem but mas malawak coverage of Smart BRO WIMAX (w/ Mobile Desktop Modem) vs Globe Tattoo WIMAX (w/ Modem and w/ or w/out External Antena)! Yung isang Client ko in Las Pinas, gamit niya in Mactan, Cebu yung Smart BRO WIMAX pero dito sa Las Pinas ang declared Service & Billing Address nang mag-apply!

sir, i am subscribed to sun wireless broadband at about P650 per month. holding period is one year. everytime you log on, you are always directed to the sun website, before you can go to your destination website. this is very annoying. second, the connection is frequently lost, especially in the afternoons (in fact, i have great difficulty in sending this post due to frequent lost connection) , and when you are reconnected again, you will directed to the sun website again. usage is mostly in the davao city area and nearby provinces.
i also use this is manila, cebu and northern mindanao and the experience is the same. i have asked the people at the local sun office but they can't give me a clear answer; just that the service is designed in such way. i have resolved to discontinue this service once the holding period comes to and end. i have discouraged others not to buy this service. if they say, i have to upgrade, i'll just patronize the other telcos. what's your take on this? thank you very much and more power to you.
