    There are so many Filipino (Tagalog) words that can't be literally translated in one word. And there are English words that can't be literally translated in one word.

    Like "ewan" ---there is no one English word to translate that except "Don't know" or "I don't know"
    Or like, "welcome"...how do you say "Welcome" in Tagalog in one word? You can't ...in one word.
    I think i agree with you there,,other words can never be literally translated into one word.
