I work for a U.S based title/mortgage company..backoffice offshore operations.. Ok ang sweldo..parang call center din.. walang metrics,walang avaya,pwede magbreak kahit kelan mo gusto.naka mp3,streaming video,browsing ng net while working,pwede matulog kung inaantok kahit na 2hours ka matulog basta matapos mo lang trabaho..Fixed schedules,may weekends pa din ako,pag holiday sa U.S holiday din kami..

3. Describe your stay at CVG?
I might say that my stay with convergys is fruitful experience wise. Training and the people of convergys are the best in the industry except lang sa mga di maiiwasang epal. The problem lang just like most large companies e I was just a statistic,kung magresign ako may papalit din agad.. Mejo mataas din politics tulad ng ibang company at *** mga externally hired T.L's ay mga walang alam..sayang lang bayad sa kanila..

-- I left CVG last april. my account back then was with JP Morgan Chase Fraud. I left there because i am so sick & tired of taking calls without getting anywhere. having been worked in another call center prior to my transfer with CVG, i thought that i'll be given a big break with this "outthinking" & "outgoing" company. but, guess that old adage "same sh*t, different day" still applies; kumbaga, same sh*tty stuff, different package.

-- I am currently working in another BPO firm. RIGOR is my officemate there. okay lang ang sahod.

-- One of the happiest.. and saddest, moments in my call center life.

--> I left Convergys last February, I worked there for over a year. DSL and Dialup technical support was my forte. "Technically", I left because my doctor recommended I take a one month off from callcenter duties to rest my throat and hypertension problems. I could have just taken a leave of absence but I decided to call it quits and take the one month off as an extended vacation before deciding to move at another tech support center. I left because I felt that I have learnt all that I could from DSL / Dialup tech support so it was time to move on.

---> Right now I work for Siemens International at Eastwood City, Libis. I'm still at tech support, this time troubleshooting Laptops. Salary is just about the same, earning over 10k every 15 days. Not bad considering the work.

3. Describe your stay at CVG?

---> I've had very little issue with my stay at CVG, I think it has been one of the most pleasurable working experiences that I've ever had. It certainly does not compare to my previous teaching job, in job hours as well as compensation. The training was excellent and my colleagues there are some of the smartest and well mannered individuals that I've ever encountered. My only complaint was the "padrino" attitude of some individuals but office politics exists anywhere anyway so I won't isolate CVG of this.

I had to leave CVG on March 2006 because of something and surprise, surprise, my account was also Chase Fraud Operations.

I'm currently working for PeopleSupport handling a financial account. Salary is competitive with other centers, but, CVG offers higher allowance package.

It was a blast. This was my first CC experience.

Sweldo? Same base pay as CVG but way BIGGER allowance!

masaya. may crush crushan na trainer. mabait naman ang mga tao. ok naman ang food sa pantry kaya medyo bumigat ako. Di masyado ma-polusyon kasi asa Alabang. mabait ang mga guard. sh*t gusto ko talaga yung account. immediate resignation ang ginawa ko kaya namn nung gusto ko ma-rehire eh, tinanggihan nila ko. para akong nabasted! babae pa naman ako.

April of this year, i just wanted to try it out, in fairness ha, six months ako dun at wag ka , ang kasuka-sukang sprint (together with nextel, hehehe) ang account namin!

im working now as a freelance graphic designer sa Ideatechs, small company sa Q.C. and for the pay? it's way better compared to a regular/full time employee, hehehe

hay, sobrang hirap nung una pero after, walang kasing saya! siguro kung hindi kami nagtatake ng calls, heaven sya pero para san pa't tinawag *** call center, hehehe. ok lang kahit alam mong pinaplastik ka ng iba pero everyone's really friendly and accomodating, lahat helpful and very optimistic! kakamiss mga team mates ko..hay..

- I left CVG last MARCH. I used to be part of IBM-Sprint. Go Wave 54! Hope to see my wavemates around here..^_^
- I left for lots of reasons, though the pay is good, i have maxicare, incentives, and other benefits which is far better than other companies, I guess I've been tired of the job plus the fact that my shift was changed to a midsfhift tpos SPRINT pa, the metrics...(what an account!).grabe pahirap..imagine having a sched of 12-9am? its much safer to have GY shft than that sched that I have to travel all the way from my place in cavite to work on the scariest, dangerous time, tpos girl p ko..Good luck to me...ok sna if we didnt had a shft bid coz my former sched was fine with me...pro ***** the old saying is true na "pag ayaw mo na ****, andaming dahilan..so i have reasons...Im sick and tired of taking calls..my reasons got piled up that i cant take it anymore so i left..in short..^_^

Right now, Im working as online ESL Instructor to Koreans. The job is better coz less pressure, less katoxican though the pay is not high as high compared with what I was getting with CVG pro pde na rin..above 10 k **** eh..

-maybe part of my answer to this one could be found with my answers in no.1question. But in addition to that, I had a great time with CVG though, I found great friends that I still get to see until now..my wave mates..they're all great..my trainor..the training was fun until we went on the floor..whew!!! but it was fun..but of course, you'd observe that there's still politics, palakasan k ganto kay ganon...anyways, i could say that convergys offers one of the best benefits in the call center industry but your stay depends on how you're happy with the account and the people you're working with and of course, if you're used to a weird sched...

Actually andito pa rin hahaha, wave 18 been here for 1year and 6mos now. But planning to resign... SObrang toxic, the reason for staying would be friends, pay, VL/SL/LOA.. Why planning? sobrang toxic nga eh, metrics na sobrang hirap abutin...Huh! Talking about Sprint.

Planning to work in a Call Center pa rin with no calls sana if possible pero my TL and I planned to do lateral transfer na lang so I'd still have the benefits pero talagang onti nlang ang pasenxa ko talaga, as in...

as always, baha sa calls, bawal wrap-up, 3x ka lang pwde mgbio-break for the entire shift. Umpisa pa lang ng shift mo gusto mo ng mg-log-out aUn..ganun lang for 1 year and 6 mos ang buhay ko @ Sprint! hehehe


So goodluck nlang po sa mga gusto pumasok sa CVG pero in fairness ok ang benefits, hehehe at pay un lang!

1.When and why?

May 15 2006. Nde na akopumasok sa office after that pero officially i resigned may 30. (nakasama pa ako sa summer outing =p ). After 2 years, and still a level 1 tech supp with cvg, nagsawa na ako sa mga customer na mahirap kausap. A bigger reason is the unrealistic metrics (well you could actually attain them but you would have to turn your back on the "integrity" value). PLUS >> is such a slave driving client.

I am now working as tech support for "the leader in hosted VOIP contact center solutions". I make probably 5k more than what i made with cvg. For the work i do, hell yeah, ok ang sweldo!

3. Well the best part is training particularly cct. You learn a lot specially for a call center greenhorn like i was. Badtrip lang yung ibang floorwalkers who boss agents around.

shell. mas ok dito because their first priority is the employee's health, safety, security, and environment. same salary ko as cvg, but much much higher ang allowance.

- I'll be filing my resignation as soon as the 13th month pay is credited to my account (which will be this coming tuesday, Dec 5th). Reason? There are just too many. Let's just say, I am no longer happy. I was under Sprint account for more than 2yrs, until it was switched to Directv last May.

- After CVG, I plan to take a vacation. Can't wait.. I'm so excited! By Feb, I would start submitting my resumés to yet another call center company. Hopefully, I'd get a non-agent position.

- I'd say, my stay with CVG have been the best and the worst. I'd rather not give details. Nevertheless, it's still one company that I highly recommend.
