hey alam nyo ba *** MS Geoinformatics? ano yun? ganda nyang pakinggan e..
& any MS course for Architecture sa Mapua School for Graduate Studies?
yung mga friend ko CHEV sila mukha naman ok kaso tumatagal sila mapua dahil sa mga thesis nila
^ As far as I know, CHEV has the most number of students than any BS-MS programs.
yep madami nga akong mga friend na nag BS-MS CHEV isa lang *** kilala kong nag BS-MS na chem kinuha
Yep. Thesis nga daw ang nagpapatagal according to some people. But it really depends on what thesis study you're gonna pursue. I'm starting with mine next term. Sana matapos in two terms.
How much per unit pagnag-masters sa mapua?May grade requirement ba for us to qualify in a master's program?
and pano ang approach ng mga professors?thanks
The rates. Graduate School is less expensive than Undergraduate Programs of the Institute.
As of this term, it's PhP 1,100/per unit.
Miscellaneous Fee = PhP 3,000.00
Maximum Unit Per Term = 9 units.
So you're gonna spend (roughly) like PhP12,900.00/term.
Grade Requirement? I'm not sure about the grade requirement, but I'm sure there is.
You may just submit to the Graduate School your TOR and they're gonna screen it.
Approach of professors?
It depends. Like in the Undergraduate, there are "terror", and there are these "good" ones.
But of course, since you're in the Graduate School, professional responsibility is expected among the students so it's assumed that as graduate students you have to deal with the demands of each course (a.k.a. subject) as well as the professor's requirements - no matter how difficult the tasks are.
The professor's are great. That's what I can say. They give loads of work to the students - double of what you expereienced in the undergraduate. But still, it depends on the course - if it is based on actual or purely theoretical.
Details about MS Geoinformatics:
The program leading to the degree of MS in Geoinformatics aims to provide graduate students with theoretical and technical principles that need to be understood in handling spatial data. It involves understanding of the different ways geographic space is perceived and represented in order to critically and effectively carries out spatial modeling, spatial analysis, visualization and interpretation of remotely sensed data in preparation for professional careers in managing geographic space. It focuses on geoinformation management for sustainable development with applications in natural resource management, land use, infrastructure planning and development.
We have MS in Architecture Education.
I often see Arch. Ervite in the Graduate School. I don't know if she's taking up MS or if she's the one teaching.
^ Again, it depends on the Program you want to take.
I think if you're gonna take MEP, then your work will be a big help.
If MS, ok din.
Oh, about the grade requirement. GPA = 2.00.
Pero try to have your TOR checked.
^waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh..DOS ang GPA???!!!wala nako chance dyan mag MS...
^ You're a Mapuan, aren't you?
(It's an advantage, I think)
I suggest to have your TOR screened.
got lots of failing grades..huhuhuhuhuhu
San po ba maganda mag take ng MSIT or MSCS??? hanap po kse ako eh..
May three (3) PhD graduates tayo last term ata.
Mapua has a relatively small population of students in Graduate School.
During my time, GS has a total of 200 plus active students. Not so bad for a Graduate School.
