best place for honeymoon-within PH :)

san kaya magandang pumunta for honeymoon? give naman suggestions on places you think is great for honeymoon that is just within Phils... and estimated budget as well...

i personally have been to davao (pearl farm) 2 yrs ago. the place was quiet and very nice... the water is great and ang sarap ng tuna dun! (",) i spent P1k/person just for the day tour only (lunch and boat transfers included) It's an off peak rate that time.

but other than that, san pa ba maganda pumunta?

we had our ours at boracay last december..package is all in: 3D/2N, airfare is SEAIR via Caticlan, accommodation at Lorenzo South Hotel (Station 3, beachfront), free breakfasts, free boat transfers from jetty port to Station 3 and vice versa, free body massage c/o the hotel...costs us Php 23,500+.

Siyempre pa ever popular ang boracay kasi nga super ganda. We stayed sa station 3, super tahimik kaya ideal siya for honeymooners..yun nga lang it's a long walk to station 2 where you could dine.

If you're in a budget try mo yung PALakbayan packages ng PAL..inclusive na rin kasi yun ng airfare and accommodation. Check out their websites.

Other places to consider: Bohol, Palawan, Davao, Cebu, Ilocos (Fort Ilocandia / Pagudpud), Baguio.

    mai,

i'm quite interested sa bora trip nyo last dec... considering meron pa siyang body massage na free... at less than P25k lang lahat... san kayo nagpabook? is it thru travel agent?

  6. #6
^^ yes..we booked through a travel agency..Universal Holidays (their office is at Dusit Hotel). SUpposedly, we want sana yung sa PALakbayan packages ng PAL kaso with December being a peak season..ang hirap magconfirm ng reservations.

I inquired directly sa Lorenzo South prior booking through a travel agent and mas mapapamahal ka pala kaya best pa rin kung through a travel agency ang booking mo.

Pero check din first kasi baka nagtaas na rin sila ng rates for this year.

sa mga nakapunta na ng bora, san bang hotel/resort maganda magstay? i've never been there kase so i really have no idea about bora... and advisable bang mag kalibo or much better ang caticlan (tama ba spelling ko?)

  8. #8
if you want a less travelling time, take trips via caticlan. Derecho na siya dun and super lapit na lang ng jetty port sa airport where you will ride a lantsa going to the station ports of boracay island (station 1,2 &3). Pero only small aircrafts lang ang pwedeng maglanding sa caticlan airport kaya only Seair and Asian Spirit ang pwedeng sakyan. Large aircrafts of PAL and Cebu Pacific on the other hand lands sa Kalibo airport. From Kalibo you may travel pa by bus or by jeep for two hours going to the jetty port and ride a lantsa to boracay island.

Nung kami nun via Caticlan kami.

  9. #9
ay, parang ayokong mag roro. kakatakot... meron bang magandang hotel/ resort na puntahan dun?

    actually there's a lot to choose from...go to www.boracay.com.

i have been to bora once pa lang kaya di ko talaga macompare.

ang napansin ko lang..most pricey hotels are located at stations 2 and 3.

    pinakamatao..station 1

ok ang nami resort, it's not on the main beach though, but they have boat that can take you there. Other i can suggest you might want to check out are Fridays, Sea Wind, Patio Pacific, these are from station 1 and Boracay Regency, Le Soleil in station 2. I find beaches in station 1 to be better, also less crowded.

Outside boracay, other place I would say good for honeymooners also is bohol. Personally i prefer bohol more than boracay. I would suggest ananyana resort. Also palawan, one of the best place. And cebu is nice, specially shang mactan.

    tnx!
