Lightbulb 2008 Beach Wedding: Too early for Preps?

Hi! =) For the wedding vets out there... if we've scheduled the Big Day by the Beach on 2008... is it too early to start making plans and preparations (coordinators, suppliers, etc...)

I know the normal reaction is a dash of much excitement.... share naman your thoughts pls...

So far I was only informed of the ff. preferred suppliers...
Ariel Javelosa - Photo and Video (I'm particular kc sa creative pix)
Manila Catering Svc - food on menu seems sumptuous (what actually caught my attention were the cake and pasta bars)

still looking for couturier, and ok florists....

Is it also more reasonable to go for semi- than full wedding coordinators, given the timeframe?

Many thanks to those who'll share their wonderful ideas...

Yes it is till too early, but you can start sourcing and canvassing. If you are here in the Philippines or have family and friends who can help you canvass for suppliers. I suggest an OTD na lang. You have plenty of time to do your preparations.

It's too early to book pero it's just ok to start preparing for your wedding by canvassing and researching for possible suppliers. Also you may start conceptualizing your dream wedding.

With the alloted time, i suggest you to book On The Day coordination services of coordinators. More reasonable, practical and mas may personal touch ang wedding mo since you'll be the one booking and coordinating with your suppliers.

It's never too early to prepare. You just have to be careful not to book without really thinking about it. If you're preparing early, use the time to really canvas suppliers. Wag yung kaunaunahang okay na supplier eh book agad.
