Hi there, I represent the HR dept. of Lawson PSSC. Regret that we are not in a position to post here the pay that we offer to our employees for security reasons. Likewise, the reason why people are moving with us is not just the "money", I believe that a lot of us are not driven by this alone, I hope... But its also because of the work environment. The office is located in a not so busy district (The Fort Global), there is opportunity to work with different cultures, flexible working hours, and most importantly, we offer total ownership in the software development project that you will do, not just maintenance, support nor bug fixing. Here at Lawson you will be creating your bugs and fixing them as well.

I have read the messages of the other people here positive and negative, of course its a given that we cannot please everyone during the negotiation. Likewise dont blame us if you exerted effort in applying with us and did not make it. It really your choice and it is a risk you have to take. We apologize if we were not able to give you feedback after the interview, if you applied and did not receive feedback you may always call us at our trunkline.

For the interested applicants we have oppenings for experienced IT practitioners with the following:

    Software Engineer, Java
    Software Engineer, C++ or C#.Net
    Business Analyst, ERP Financials
    Sr. Business Analyst ERP Financials

We are also open to fresh graduates of IT courses who has credits in software development during college.

Thanks and more power to Pinoy Exchange!

you're lucky! one interview only? did you have exams? i was wondering what position you applied for?

recent posts regarding job offers are true. Crap! I should have taken precautions. If more than 40K ang sal mo, don't try to apply here na lang because you'll just be wasting your time. BTW, their hiring procedures are also crap! They'd put you through the interviews process before they even ask for your current compensation package. And regardless of what you said/emailed about your current compensation package, they'd still offer you a salary lower than what you are currently earning! Pinapunta ka pa for that!!!!

Is it really for security reasons or you just don't know? I don't mean to sound off, pero one of you HR of Lawson admitted to have no idea about your company's packages. And you can challenge me to name one, because I know one.

^ - I just got my job offer from lawson. I asked for more than 40k and I got it.

As for hiring procedures, well, I think it was okay. I finished in 2 days. Though there are companies that can finish in one day, I think 2 days is still very good. I had experience before that the gap between initial interview and final interview was 2 months. So no complaints here. hehe

I think it doesn't matter when the desired computation is asked. Some ask it on the first interview, and I have some that asked on the final interview. I always expect the actual job offer to be lower than my desired computation... But I was pleasantly surprised when they actually offered me my desired computation.

I don't think HR people are really allowed to discuss compensation packages especially in public forums and this holds true for most companies. Compensation for me is a confidential and personal (since it varies from person to person) information. Now think of competing companies, I don't think they want the other company to know about their compensation package.

Well, I would still say that the experience of recruitment varies from person to person. So maybe it's just a matter of a little bit of luck. Maybe I got lucky in the process.

There are companies who are proud of their compensation packages it is even published on their website. And we are not talking about employee's salary ranges for what positions. And my point is that, some of them, if not all, HR assistants of Lawson don't really know about their compensation package as admitted to me by one, which is really weird and quite annoying. Get the point?

Not to put you down though, I'm happy for your luck

^^ - Maybe the "one" you talked to was the exception rather than the rule. hehe

Seriously though... the HR personnel I talked to was pleasant and actually knowledgeable about their compensation package.... as for the other HR personnel, well, I wouldn't know until i get to ask them. hehe But anyways, you had your own experience and I had my own. it's unfortunate that your experience was unpleasant...

well, good luck on your next..and i wish you the best in finding your ideal company.

I have a former officemate who transfered here at Lawson, and as what I heard tinapatan nila yung current salary nya sa company namin kaya sya nag transfer. Inofferan ata ng Lawson ng 40k or 50k. Forgot sorry.

So sa nag rereklamo sa salary na yan, baka naman yung skill-set mo eh hindi umabot sa pang 40k. Kasi bine base ng company yung ibibigay nilang salary sa employee nila sa skill-set. Kaya ganun. So payo ko if you want a higher compensation then get more trainings and certifications. the more certificate you have the higher salary you get.
