    Thumbs down Very Worst Company Offering A Low Compensation!

    i have been into final interview and got passed. and scheduled for a job offered.

    UNFORTUNATELY, after all you have gone through series of technical interviews, going back and forth to there office, THIS WAS THE WORST COMPANY OFFERING A VERY LOW COMPENSATION PACKAGE!

    just imagine, they are offering a basic monthly compensation lower than your current basic monthly compensation in your current employer.

    WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF HR SCHEDULING YOU FOR THE SERIES OF TECH INTERVIEWS? Eh AFTER IT, ALTHOUGH GOT PASS, ITS NOT WORTHY WHAT THEY CAN OFFER.

    sira ulo talaga ang Hiring MANAGERS DITO!
    alam nila ang range ng current basic monthly compensation tapos hindi pala binigyan ng importansya!

    THEY ARE ONLY LOOKING THE YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE NOT THE EXPERIENCES OR SKILLS YOU HAVE!!!

    Just asking, kasi mukhang totoo nga na! they prefer the number of years experience.

    So kahit pala ala Superman ka sa skills mo at 1 year lang experience mo, talagang mababa ang ibibigay

    Totoo ba yung quote na "Training and good skills is good but there is no substitute for experience"

    ganun din sa accenture, they offered a salary lower than my current. i know a lot of people who transferred to lawson since they offered a bigger compensation, sometimes double or triple the current.

    if you dont mind me asking, how many years of programming experience do you have and what's your present company?

    I got the info from my classmate who had applied, she has 2 years of programming experience (like me), she has very superior skills especially on VB and now .NET programming. But they still prefer years of experience, siguro minimum 5 years. Para maka kuha ka ng best compensation.

    Reality nalang siguro, the company is focus on your maturity (as stated on your no. of yrs experience). Kahit ala super expert ka na at sa kadaldal mo sa interview. It all points down to experience, unless mag sip-sip ka or may insider, hehehe!

    Mag apply nalang ako ulit after 2 or 3 years, haaaayyyy.

    Bakit sabi ng Lawson headhunter(dito rin yata yun), wag na raw mag-apply sa Lawson kung more than 3years na experience mo dahil di na kaya ng Lawson ang presyo mo...
    So naka-design lang ba salary package nila sa 2-3years experience?

    Pwede na siguro ang 3 to 5 years(na solid!), kasi yung iba daw 5 years naman puro coding lang pero programmer ang position. Kaya sa interview ni rate ka lang nila as 2 years equivalent. Dapat daw kung 3 years, magaling sa design, development and analysis.

    Narinig ko nga pag may skill na ganito natatangap na as Team Lead, at naka demand pa daw ng 6 digits salary! wow

    Eh! ako nag start palang ng mag design, dami pang bigas na kakainin...

    well this is not true either...
    I have 5+ solid years of experience to the application they provide (as in business/technical/development implementation) but unfortunately...like the experience of the other person in this thread...I had an offer lower to what I currently receiving...

    I think the compensation they offer is good if you're coming from 30-40K salary...but if u r receiving more than 30-40K...forget it...

    as for my experience nmn... I came from one of the companies na "kapitbahay ng Lawson" as they say... I didn't apply sa Lawson but when they searched for resumes on jobstreet, mine managed to get in.. all in all my application with them was fast!! so fast that hours after the technical interview they already had somebody contacting me for a list of character reference and soon after, maybe days came the job offer... As for my experience I only had 1 year of developement on my belt but since their going to under go you on technical interviews they'll probably have a baseline of what ur capable of... so now I'm with Lawson.. I've been enjoying my stay here.. as for the salary and benefits are above the usual rate for newbies like me...

    Ahehe... ako rin na disappoint sa job offer. after ng results ng technical interviews kala ko ibibgay na *** expected salary.

    pero OK ang lawson, i think. the TM and the technical recruiter who processed my application really explained my roles if ever i joined the company. kaso sabit lang talaga *** offer. :-P
