Paunang hirit: Wala po kaming coordinator at ang lahat ay personal naming tinutukan. Pero mga kapatid, nakakatuwa pa rin kasi 2 suppliers ang nakapansin na organized daw kami (wahehe, shempre anyabang ko naman di ba?) Me mga unforeseen events pa rin na nangyari sa kasal. Una yung ring bearer namin, nasukahan ang gown ng MOB. Deadma na lang, walang Ring Bearer na nag-march. Pangalawa, nag-brownout sa reception (nagkaron kami ng libreng fireworks at me nagcomment pang “Ayy! Ang romantic!” hahaha). Susme. Nag-apoy na yung wire ng Meralco, di pa rin masyadong nahalata. Salamat sa luminaries. Yun pala ang silbi non J Sa 265K, din a rin matatawaran ang galing ng mga suppliers involved. 220 ang guests. Pano nagkasya? Isa-isahin po natin:

1. Blue Petals Catering
Peso Power: 75,590.00 (220 heads)
Rating: 10
Reasons:
a. Sobrang ok na service (mula initial meeting hanggang wedding day). Sila mismo nagbibigay ng fresh ideas. Every meeting namin, almost 3-4hrs kami inaabot sa sobrang particular namin sa details but they’re very patient. On the day itself, nung nawalan ng electricity, they utilized the luminaries by putting them on the guest tables.
b. Daming guests ang nagcomment na masarap yung food.
c. Sa P220 per head, complete na ang menu: pork, fish, beef, chicken, pasta, drinks, and panghimagas.

2. Ariel Javelosa Photography
Peso Power: 53,055.00 (includes prenup, 8x10 digital album, 2 mini-album, 1 signature frame, 1 tarpulin, 16x20 blow-up canvass, video in vcd/vhs/dvd)
Rating: 10 (separate rating will be given for the album upon receipt)
Reasons:
a. Sa meeting, walang problem. Madali silang makausap thru email or phone.
b. For prenup pictorial, we went to four locations: studio, hotel, church, and reception. Praktisadong-praktisado na kami sa pose kahit prenup pa lang!
c. Mabilis makuha yung output cd (prenup and wedding shots)
d. Game yung team sa mga shots na gusto mo. I have the misconception that their photos are traditional. When I spoke to Kuya Ben & Kuya Manuel that we want our pictures to be 60% candid & wacky, I didn’t know they’d deliver super ultra great shots =)

3. Ysabelle Fashion/Bridal Factory
Peso Power: 10,100 (for the gowns of the mothers and Groom’s apparel)
Rating: 10
Reasons:
a. Mabilis kausap. Mabilis ang delivery. Maganda ang quality. Natuwa pareho ang mothers dahil specially designed and unique yung gowns nila. The groom was also happy and contented sa damit nya.

4. Leonie Bautista
Peso Power: 11,000 for 8 female entourage and 2 flower girls
Rating: 10
Reasons:
a. Madaling kausap. Mabilis ang delivery. Maganda ang quality.
b. Medyo di kami nagkaintindihan sa kulay mismo pero buti na lang ok yung kinalabasan lalo na sa pics. Natuwa naman yung female entourage ko.


5. Sugarbox Cake
Peso Power: 8,500.00 (fondant cake with 12 mini-cake)
Rating: 8
Reasons:
a. Mabilis at maayos kausap. Sa text nga lang kami madalas magcommunicate ni Ms. Emily e.
b. Masarap yung cake at nilantakan ng mga bata yung billiard balls.
c. Kulang ng 2 points kasi una nawala yung isang topper na nirequest namin and pangalawa, hindi namin nahagilap yung wishes for the single ladies. Pero after the wedding, Ms. Emily explained her side and she’s willing to make it up by sending us another minicake with the topper we missed. Not a bad idea. So let’s finalize the rating to 9 na rin. Madali naman din kami kausap.

6. Palmos Weddings (for the Bridal Gown)
Peso Power: pasensya na, secret daw po.
Rating: 9
Reasons:
a. Masarap kausap sila Mam Olie at Sir Jorge. They’ll give you suggestion about your gown and kung ano ang mga babagay dito. And kahit super busy sila, they’ll take time to take care of you. And ang sarap ng feeling pag inaasikaso ka, di ba?
b. Kulang ng 1 point kasi bumigay yung zipper sa hotel pa lang. Buti na lang me pangalawang lock kaya di halata.

7. JJS Entertainment
Peso Power: 10,000 for the quartet (plus 1 free church singer)
Rating: 2
Reasons:
a. Masarap sana kausap si Sir John. Mahirap nga lang mahagilap.
b. Bridal march was a disaster. Yep, I have to live with this disappointment forever. I requested for A Moment Like This. Sabi ni Sir John maiiyak daw ako sa galing ng JJS. And true to his word, gusto ko maiyak while marching sa aisle.Believe it or not, di ko alam kung babalik ba ako sa entrance ng church to give ample time for the singer to practice the song. Parang nun lang nya prinaktis yung kanta. Once in a lifetime bridal march at wala sa tono yung kumanta. Nakakaiyak talaga.
c. Di tumugtog yung quartet sa reception while waiting for the program to start. Pagdating naming couple sa reception, CD ang tumutugtog. What da?! Bakit pa ako kumuha ng quartet kung CD ang gagamitin?
d. Nung nagbrownout, nablanko ang upuan nilang lahat, naiwan yung instruments. Sana man lang nag-stay put din sila sa seats nila kasi halatang-halata na nawala sila. Nasa harap sila e. Asan sila?
e. Bumawi sila nung patapos na yung reception. Me mga pinakanta kasi kaming friends and natugtog naman nila ng maayos. Kaso, yun lang ba ang binayaran ng 10,000? Magaan nga yung task nila kasi for the wedding traditions, we didn’t ask them to play anymore, CD na lang muna.
f. Ilan sa nirequest naming kanta ang natugtog? Wala pang lima.
g. Nawala na rin yung surprise ng groom kasi hindi daw sila nasabihan. O di ba, nagsuffer pa yung program.
h. Sana when Jacque mentioned her sentiments about JJS, nakinig na ako. Kaso I trusted John so much kasi neighbor namin sya. Same as Jacque, I asked him what happened (to give him the benefit of the doubt kaso deadma, dito na ata sila magaling pag pumapalpak)

8. Xstatic Sound and Lights
Peso Power: 5,000
Rating: 8
Reasons:
a. Medyo nahirapan kami nung una kontakin si Sir Mon. Hectic masyado ang sked pero nung nakausap na namin sya, madaling makapalagayan ng loob.
b. Di namin alam kung dahil sa kanila kaya bumigay yung electricity sa reception. Pero pwede rin namin di na-anticipate ng country club na ganon kalaking power supply ang makakain ng wedding namin (1st time kasi mag-hold ng wedding sa place na yon)

9. Ross Regala (HMUA)
Peso Power: 8,500 for 3 heads during wedding, 1,200 for prenup, 1000 per extra head on wedding day
Rating: 7
Reasons:
a. Personal favorite ko si Mama Ross. Magaan kasi ang kamay (he can make wonders talaga). Mabilis magtrabaho and high end ang gagamiting products sa’yo. I would’ve given him a perfect 10 kaso…
b. Before our reception, tinanggal nya ang ipit sa buhok ko. Then, picture taking na kami ng groom ko. I had no way to see kung ok ba yung new hairstyle ko so I trusted him. When I saw the pics, nanlumo ako. Nagkaron ng umbok yung part ng hair ko na nakaipit (at nilugay). And worst, sa reception wala nang naglakas ng loob magsabi na mukha na akong bruha dahil nililipad sa kung saan-saang direction ang buhok ko. And where is my HMUA? Nowhere to find.
c. Lastly, ang usapan namin is 700 for additional heads during wedding. Yung mga nagpa-makeup sa kanya, sinabihan ko. But Ross insisted na 1,000 daw ang usapan namin. Since I was busy, these ladies paid him without consulting me. There goes my favorite HMUA.

10. RCG Printing Press
Peso Power: 45.00 x 70 copies (5 pages each)
Rating: 6
Reasons:
a. Ayon sa feedback ng nakararami, ganda daw ng invitations namin.
b. Mabango, hindi nakakasawa yung amoy ng pages.
c. Kaso, hindi malinis ang trabaho. Ilang beses bumalik si En sa shop nila para ireject yung mga invitations. Grrr talaga. To think na ipi-print na nga lang nila… di nakakatuwa magpabalik-balik sa Recto ha.

11. Mang Boy Mahusay (Bridal Bouquet & Entourage flowers)
Peso Power: 7,500
Rating: 10
Reasons:
a. Ang gaan sa loob kausap, straight to the point.
b. Nung una akala ko, mahal yung package na nakuha namin. On the day itself, reasonable naman pala yung price. Di nya kami tinipid sa bulaklak. Lahat maganda! And take note, on time sya magdeliver. S’ya ang kauna-unahang supplier na dumating.
c. Kaso nawala yung red berries ng bouquet ko. Ok na rin. Nacompensate na rin ng quality deliverable nila.

Buti di pumalpak ang JJS sayo. blue17's experience with them was a disaster. I also handled my friend's wedding and they were very late in the reception. My partner had to play the piano in the meantime because all the guests were there waiting. They also didn't follow the song list my friend provided. And the person in charge was very difficult to contact after my friend made the downpayment already.

So true. I still can't get over dun sa (lack of) professional service nila. And John sms me saying he would email me for the explanation but I never got them. JJS is the part of my wedding I would really want to forget

Hi... sana makatulong ako

1.wedding gown by Malou Castillejos---- 10 of course ganda ng gown ko eh..normally she'll ask u what sort of gown u would want to wear but then u can always choose from her own designs na ready na.

2. Invites--- perfect invitatations by Ada Castillejos--- yeah!! they're sisters and ***** you're familiar na w/ their company. I would rate them 10 as well.

3. Shine Photo---- for my photo and video..... rommel ricafort was nice to work with and they do unique photos... 10 as well

4. VS&F as the caterer---- well, during the free food tasting the food that was served was really great... very very good... i was kinda disappointed and annoyed because on the day of my wedding the food was cooked and prepared badly... considering na i paid 765P per head but the service was very cheap....I couldnt described the food the way it was presented kc medyo mahal binayad namen eh tapos ganon lang . the comment from the guests were like... 150P lang daw per head *** pagkain wahhhhhhhhhhhh! But I think medyo pinipili nila ang pagagandahin ang service nila kc ok naman daw sila?????...so kakainis noh? yoko na magsisi!!! 5 ang rating ko sa kanila!

5. 2171 for the bouquets for the whole entourage----Joyce Aguilar 10 as well ganda ng mga bouquets simple lang but fairly priced...

6. gowns for the female entourage--- Tita devine Cura--- maganda ang tahi ni tita devine expensive sya compared sa divisoria but way far ang quality nya. medyo rush nga lang *** saken but i would rate her 9.

7. cake-- Judy Uson 10,000P 3 layered cake worth it naman 10 as well.

8. Puerta real for the reception--- nice sa pictures but then i wasnt so amazed... a week before my wedding ko lang nakita ang place heheheh 6 for the rating... medyo expensive na din kc they require 10% corkage sa catering contract.. unlike sa iba na may accredited caterers na sila kahit medyo mahal ang venue rental

9.giveaways and butterflies--- Acclaim i would rate them 10! gel candle w/ buttefly 250P each

10. String Minstrels--- magaganda ang boses ng mga singers very professional kaya lang parang di ko masyado namalayan nawala na sila hahahah konte lang kinanta nila???Quintet ang kinuha namen they cost me 18thouP sa reception lang... . 9 sa kanila

11. Jackie Rivera for the HMU--- I would rate him 9 maganda sya mag makeup kaya lang iniwan nya ko kc nabwisit sya sa photographer dahil late daw... kaya ayun lumayas heheheh pero 10thou din sa kanya plus 2 persons wala ng retouch yan!

12. Barongs-- for the male entourage I 4got na sa divisoria pinatahi ok naman 1000P each pero 3thou *** sa father ko maganda ang quality. I would rate them 8.

Choir - Canto Cinco (c/o Sonolux inside Ateneo University); Good; Remarks - In fairness, they did a good job based on their Bukas Palad-style of singing. However, a more opera-oriented choir like Philippine Madrigal Singers or Ateneo Chamber Singers would have been better-suited for a wedding.

Attended a wedding last November 11 and the food was spoiled. There were ants in the iced tea and noodles. Turned out it was VS&F who catered the event. It was a wonder since their list of clientele is very impressive. Though I have to admit my friend was not a celebrity but nonetheless, the quality should have been the same.

My friend already filed a complaint. And the embarrassing thing for her is, she texted her friends to apologize for the food! Marami pala nagcomplain. And that's why we knew di lang pala kami yung may spoiled food.

I really hope kahit hindi celebrity yung kakasalin, maganda yung preparations ng supplier.

1. Nice Print Photography - from pre-nup to wedding, my rating will be 7. On time sila sa photo session lagi, I rate them 7 kasi meron mga important moment that they we're unable to capture like during cake cutting ceremony di nila na capture yun moment na ako na yung nagbigay ng cake sa groom. Yung mga picture ng sponsors/entourage, halos lahat nakayuko, sana man lang tinawag nila yung sponsors/entourage and asked to stop walking kahit ilang second to take picture man lang. Per all in all naman, maganda yung pictures namin.

2. Cake by Favecakes - customized yung cake namin and I believe I've got the best value for our money. My rating is 10! Kuhang kuha nila yung sample ng cake na binigay ko and the taste is good, we choose carrot cake. The set-up was elegant, at lahat ng mga pina additional ko they gave it free of charge!

3. Dexie's Catering - perfect score din sila (10). When our guests arrived sa reception, lahat talaga sila napa-wow sa set-up (my wedding theme is fairy tale), it was great! I really felt like a princess during our wedding and it is as if we are in the garden of our castle! The food was great too, our guests loved our handa. Lahat sila nasarapan kaya walang left over. Ubos lahat ng handa at lahat ng guests nabusog. Walang guest na nag comment na inde sila nakakain or kulang yun food. Okay talaga ito....buti na lang sila ang pinili namin. If you will book them, ask for freebies na lang, and you can still ask for discount sa additional item that you want to add.

4. Sa gown ko by Angel's Boutique (sa divi lang ito) WAG NA WAG NYO KUNIN...hmmm...disaster yung gown na ginawa nila, naging mas maganda pa tuloy gown ng maid of honor kesa sa akin. I will give them 2points lang. Di talaga ako satisfied sa ginawa nila. Puro problem lang binigay nila sa kin from start to end.

5. Hair & Make-up by Irish Manalo - I'll rate them 7! On time sila lagi, okay kausap, down to earth at may pagka-comedian. Maganda sila mag make-up, okay na okay, kaso lang may kamahalan ang package nila, kasama sila from hotel hanggang end ng wedding, kasama sa package yung retouch, kaya lang everytime na kailangan mo sila, lagi silang nawawala, pinapahanap ko pa just to do retouch.

5. Concepts & Technology for invites & souvenir - 10 for the invites and 7 lang for souvenir. Good service, very patient yung owner kahit ilang revision na inabot yung invitation, sa souvenir naman na photo magnet (on-site printing), they gave the best value for our money, kaya lang since kami yung una client nila sa on-site photo magnet printing (wedding) meron din mga flaws which is acceptable naman since kami nga ang first client nila. At the end naman naayos naman kung ano man yung mga flaws.

Food: Blue petals -5 asarap talaga ang food but disaster sa service, kami na nga lang ang nakatiffany chair bagong paint spray pa. napinturahan ang coat and pants ng hubby ko, at 3 times ko pa tinawag sila n palitan ang upuan..nasira tuloy mood ng asawa ko. mahal kaya ng pasadya ng terno. i was disappointed kasi kala ko masusupervise sila ng maayos, dinifile nila ang simbahan namin, at naghugas pa mismo ng utensils sa church pantry namin. without asking permission ha, sinungaling pa kanila daw ang tubig, hello, 300 ang guest imagine mo ang daming tubig na dapat ilinis sa mga un? water is not the issue here pero naman, dinifile nyo na nga sacredness ng simbahan namin, dun pa kayo maghuhugas? ay grabe talaga, i will be hesitant to recommend them to anybody i know. mahirap na masisi. kaya di din ako masisisi if hindi ako nagbayad ng additional person ko pa. with the humiliations? its not worth it pa nga. and sinabi ko na sakanila na we were allowed only until 11 pm sa church, eh past 12 na andun pa sila at ang sasakyang panghakot is isa lang? kaya sa sobrang inis ko na talaga sinabi ko na saknila na ilabas nila sa premises *** mga gamit nila at sa labas na lang sila magantay dahil icoclose na namin ang chapel. and i was also informed by their staff na hanggang 3 lang ang kaya nila accomodate nalaman ko sa waiter 4 pala kami? eh kaya naman pala nasacrifice ang wedding ko. really, i am disappointed.

Bridal Gown -Pings boutique-5 i wont recommend them, simpleng shearing lang di pa nakuha. 3 times ko pa pinabalik. napagsatos pa tuloy ako ng doble sa wedding gown ko.di talaga advisable sa divisoria.
Grooms suit- Edwin Valerio -10k rate -10 perfect. ang pogi ng hubby ko sa suot nya..

Flowers -Dangwa - 5 i forgot the name pero ingat talaga kasi di sila tumupad sa kung ano ang napagagreehan na flowers. simpleng simple pa sa design.

Video and Photo -10 standard package 22k , kakilala ko kasi ang official photographer ng Funshots. mabait sila and very accomodating.

Exstatic Lights and Sounds- 10 mabait na kausap si sir mon. i eentertainin ka talaga nya.

hay.. i was really stressed out sa day ng wedding dahil sa disaster. advise ko lang talaga wag maging kampante. maging makulit at make sure they understand what you really want. di naman din basta basta ang ibinayad natin sa kanila.

Salamat sa luminaries. Yun pala ang silbi non J Sa 265K, din a rin matatawaran ang galing ng mga suppliers involved. 220 ang guests. Pano nagkasya? Isa-isahin po natin:

1. Blue Petals Catering
Peso Power: 75,590.00 (220 heads)
Rating: 10
Reasons:
a. Sobrang ok na service (mula initial meeting hanggang wedding day). Sila mismo nagbibigay ng fresh ideas. Every meeting namin, almost 3-4hrs kami inaabot sa sobrang particular namin sa details but they’re very patient. On the day itself, nung nawalan ng electricity, they utilized the luminaries by putting them on the guest tables.
b. Daming guests ang nagcomment na masarap yung food.
c. Sa P220 per head, complete na ang menu: pork, fish, beef, chicken, pasta, drinks, and panghimagas.

2. Ariel Javelosa Photography
Peso Power: 53,055.00 (includes prenup, 8x10 digital album, 2 mini-album, 1 signature frame, 1 tarpulin, 16x20 blow-up canvass, video in vcd/vhs/dvd)
Rating: 10 (separate rating will be given for the album upon receipt)
Reasons:
a. Sa meeting, walang problem. Madali silang makausap thru email or phone.
b. For prenup pictorial, we went to four locations: studio, hotel, church, and reception. Praktisadong-praktisado na kami sa pose kahit prenup pa lang!
c. Mabilis makuha yung output cd (prenup and wedding shots)
d. Game yung team sa mga shots na gusto mo. I have the misconception that their photos are traditional. When I spoke to Kuya Ben & Kuya Manuel that we want our pictures to be 60% candid & wacky, I didn’t know they’d deliver super ultra great shots =)

3. Ysabelle Fashion/Bridal Factory
Peso Power: 10,100 (for the gowns of the mothers and Groom’s apparel)
Rating: 10
Reasons:
a. Mabilis kausap. Mabilis ang delivery. Maganda ang quality. Natuwa pareho ang mothers dahil specially designed and unique yung gowns nila. The groom was also happy and contented sa damit nya.

4. Leonie Bautista
Peso Power: 11,000 for 8 female entourage and 2 flower girls
Rating: 10
Reasons:
a. Madaling kausap. Mabilis ang delivery. Maganda ang quality.
b. Medyo di kami nagkaintindihan sa kulay mismo pero buti na lang ok yung kinalabasan lalo na sa pics. Natuwa naman yung female entourage ko.


5. Sugarbox Cake
Peso Power: 8,500.00 (fondant cake with 12 mini-cake)
Rating: 8
Reasons:
a. Mabilis at maayos kausap. Sa text nga lang kami madalas magcommunicate ni Ms. Emily e.
b. Masarap yung cake at nilantakan ng mga bata yung billiard balls.
c. Kulang ng 2 points kasi una nawala yung isang topper na nirequest namin and pangalawa, hindi namin nahagilap yung wishes for the single ladies. Pero after the wedding, Ms. Emily explained her side and she’s willing to make it up by sending us another minicake with the topper we missed. Not a bad idea. So let’s finalize the rating to 9 na rin. Madali naman din kami kausap.

6. Palmos Weddings (for the Bridal Gown)
Peso Power: pasensya na, secret daw po.
Rating: 9
Reasons:
a. Masarap kausap sila Mam Olie at Sir Jorge. They’ll give you suggestion about your gown and kung ano ang mga babagay dito. And kahit super busy sila, they’ll take time to take care of you. And ang sarap ng feeling pag inaasikaso ka, di ba?
b. Kulang ng 1 point kasi bumigay yung zipper sa hotel pa lang. Buti na lang me pangalawang lock kaya di halata.

8. Xstatic Sound and Lights

Reasons:
a. Medyo nahirapan kami nung una kontakin si Sir Mon. Hectic masyado ang sked pero nung nakausap na namin sya, madaling makapalagayan ng loob.
b. Di namin alam kung dahil sa kanila kaya bumigay yung electricity sa reception. Pero pwede rin namin di na-anticipate ng country club na ganon kalaking power supply ang makakain ng wedding namin (1st time kasi mag-hold ng wedding sa place na yon)

9. Ross Regala (HMUA)
Peso Power: 8,500 for 3 heads during wedding, 1,200 for prenup, 1000 per extra head on wedding day
Rating: 7
Reasons:
a. Personal favorite ko si Mama Ross. Magaan kasi ang kamay (he can make wonders talaga). Mabilis magtrabaho and high end ang gagamiting products sa’yo. I would’ve given him a perfect 10 kaso…
b. Before our reception, tinanggal nya ang ipit sa buhok ko. Then, picture taking na kami ng groom ko. I had no way to see kung ok ba yung new hairstyle ko so I trusted him. When I saw the pics, nanlumo ako. Nagkaron ng umbok yung part ng hair ko na nakaipit (at nilugay). And worst, sa reception wala nang naglakas ng loob magsabi na mukha na akong bruha dahil nililipad sa kung saan-saang direction ang buhok ko. And where is my HMUA? Nowhere to find.
c. Lastly, ang usapan namin is 700 for additional heads during wedding. Yung mga nagpa-makeup sa kanya, sinabihan ko. But Ross insisted na 1,000 daw ang usapan namin. Since I was busy, these ladies paid him without consulting me. There goes my favorite HMUA.

10. RCG Printing Press
Peso Power: 45.00 x 70 copies (5 pages each)
Rating: 6
Reasons:
a. Ayon sa feedback ng nakararami, ganda daw ng invitations namin.
b. Mabango, hindi nakakasawa yung amoy ng pages.
c. Kaso, hindi malinis ang trabaho. Ilang beses bumalik si En sa shop nila para ireject yung mga invitations. Grrr talaga. To think na ipi-print na nga lang nila… di nakakatuwa magpabalik-balik sa Recto ha.

11. Mang Boy Mahusay (Bridal Bouquet & Entourage flowers)
Peso Power: 7,500
Rating: 10
Reasons:
a. Ang gaan sa loob kausap, straight to the point.
b. Nung una akala ko, mahal yung package na nakuha namin. On the day itself, reasonable naman pala yung price. Di nya kami tinipid sa bulaklak. Lahat maganda! And take note, on time sya magdeliver. S’ya ang kauna-unahang supplier na dumating.
c. Kaso nawala yung red berries ng bouquet ko. Ok na rin. Nacompensate na rin ng quality deliverable nila.
