im with IHG for 6 months now and love ko pa din sya and no plans on leaving.

the application process was a struggle for me din. as far as i remember, they process my application for 3 weeks. so imagine na di ako mapakali for 3 weeks just to get the job. i had 4 interviews. hr, 2 managers and a training manager. 2 managers were on the same night and different night for hr and different night on the training manager as well. i dont have a previous call center background kasi so i dont know if the offer was low pero eventually ok naman sya. btw im from the group reservations which is sobrang avail. we only have like 30 calls per shift, we do emails as well. pero di sya ganun ka-stressful. bilang sales dept ako, parang umaabot ng 19-ish yung salary because of the allowances, night diff and incentives as well (iba pa *** sodexo, gc's and other pakulo ng sales.

masaya dito. walang ere *** mga tao. may mga maeencounter ka lang na di mo masyadong feel pero eventually naman makakasundo mo pa din. everyone are so nice na sila ang reason bakit ayaw mo umalis.

we have csats and qa's as well pero di ganon kahigpit, grounds lang sya para mawalan ka ng incentive pero di ka nila bibigyan ng memo or materminate ka. you have sandamakmak na coaching lang. haha!

it's a call center nga pero we're kind of direct from our product. let's say we're the global office.

hiring naman sila always, matagal lang kasi iniipon nila *** applicants for training. usually kasi 16 trainees ang kailangan nila. kailangan makuha nila un bago magstart ang training. malas mo lang pag 1st ka on that batch, medyo matagal ang pag-iintay mo.

Mabilis ang career growth, within 8 mos of working i was accepted for a non phone work and now a proj coordinator accounting! Fortunately IHG is already accepting at least 2nd year grad applicant. they're still hiring so for those whose interested, you can apply walk in.

^^ yes they're still hiring, ako rin naman no call center experience. basta confident ka lang sa interview and in english of course. (the HR interviewer as well as the TM who conducted the final interview were nice)

went there last thursday around 11am, and final interview around 830pm, JO at 930pm. tas medical and orientation na ako kahapon and training on Monday. sana tuloy tuloy na.

here's the HR process:

2 HR interview
exam (listening/typing/reading comprehension/grammar exam)
final interview
call simulation
Job offer

as what lymwells posted mejo matagal lang talaga yung process (pero makikita mo naman sa mga HR staff na they're really working para mapabilis ang process), buti nga nafinal interview pa ako on the same day kahit na nagintay ako ng matagal, (yung HR panay sorry sa mga applicant na supposed to be eh to be interviewed around 430pm pati na yung TM na nagfinal interview sa akin, ok lang naman sa akin na matagal yung process kasama naman yung sa pinagdadaanan ng aplikante..lalo na kung JO naman pagkatapos, sulit ang pagiintay saka atleast 1 day process lang, 1 day lang yung agony) yung mga nauna kasi sa akin sabi tatawagan na lang daw sila kasi walang TM na magfifinal interview. btw, i'm into reservations.
