hay the episode is amazing!!! finally a good episode! kahit na di masyadong forensic pero the way they wanna let the viewers know that brennan realizes that she missed her chance was beautifully done!!! thumbs up!!

was surprise that booth was there at that exact moment that a car would hit her and it doesnt seem to be a big deal na the car didnt even stop. feeling ko tuloy parang twilight zone lol!

was waiting for booth to tell brennan that there was never a night watcher named micah lol!

and the scene where she's talking to the cd, kinda made me think that she's really going nuts. kinda like booth with the tumor before and ended up arguing with stewy.

was also surprise that angela didnt even came to comfort her to at least pry on whats really happening. no one seemed worried, only confused. or maybe thats cuz the universe turned upside down for 3 days. i dunno. lotsa loose ends. but all in all its very good!

'Bones' Fan Columnist: What to Expect in the Second Half of Season 6

Hello, Bones fans! So I don't know about you, but I'm personally still trying to get over the heartbreak and emotional damage that came with last week's mid-season finale. I mean, really Booth? Really Bones writers?

I don't even think we can use the excuse of trying to be true to the characters anymore because I think we can all agree that the Booth we have all known and loved for years now is not the same guy anymore, so my question is: Where do we go from here?

What can we expect from the second half of the season, and how do we get back to the old Bones? Well, of course I don't have all the answers to these questions, but I was able to gather up a few interesting tidbits for you guys to think about over the break. Check it out!

The Sniper

When Bones returns on Jan. 20 with its episode, "The Bullet in the Brain," directed by David Boreanaz, Booth will have to confront his past when he comes across a fellow sniper, Jacob Ripkin Broadsky, who, according to executive producer Stephen Nathan "[has] perverted the profession."

Nathan revealed that this storyline, which will continue for three episodes, is going to have a tremendous impact on Booth emotionally, but perhaps best of all, he also revealed that this sniper will "affect Booth and Brennan in a very profound way." Sounds promising, right?

Not so fast. Although the sniper might give Booth and Brennan a little push in the right direction, he is also reportedly going to "take out" a recurring character. Now, given the fact that Carla Gallo and Ryan Cartwright, the actors who play Daisy Wick and Vincent Nigel-Murray respectively, have been cast in new series, does this mean it could be one of them?

Well, at this point, the identity of the sniper's victim is still up in the air, but please feel free to comment below and speculate further!

Hannah

Yes, unfortunately my friends, as much as I wish she would just go away, it seems as though Hannah will still be a big part of the second half of season 6. According to Stephen Nathan, we've still got some things to explore when it comes to her character.

For instance, the character of Hannah was apparently introduced to help examine Booth and Brennan's relationship, and we still have to see what's going to happen when she learns about Brennan's confession to Booth and when she learns about Booth's past as a sniper and as a gambler.

Also, as much as I hated it, Booth said Hannah was not a "consolation prize," and he has claimed repeatedly that he "loves" her. I say he "loves" her because it seems totally implausible that he could have fallen out of love with Brennan so fast. He really should take a hint from Sweets one of these days, don't you think?

But, alas! All hope is not lost. In regards to Hannah's stay on Bones, Nathan did say, "We know what her profession is. We know that she has been on the move her whole professional life. She comes and goes." So maybe she can go ahead and move on out of Booth's life forever? Fingers crossed ...

A Proposal

Get ready, everyone. There's going to be a proposal on Bones sometime in February. As of right now, the particular couple remains a secret, and I think we can only safely rule out Angela and Hodgins for obvious reasons. Also, on that note, be on the lookout for Angela's baby bump when Bones returns.

Oh, and as a side note, if Booth ends up proposing to Hannah, I think I might lose it. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Time Change

When Bones returns in January, it will now be airing after American Idol at 9pm rather than 8pm. Or if you're like me and are on central time, be sure to watch at 8pm instead of 7pm.

Cam's Love Life

Hooray for Cam! Elon Gold will be reprising his role as Dr. Paul Linder when Bones returns early next year, and I don't know about you, but I have a pretty good feeling about this. Who knows? Maybe we'll even get to see some major Cam and Paul interaction in the Bones Valentine's Day episode, "The Bikini in the Soup."

The Gravedigger

We just can't get rid of her can we? According to Dierdre Lovejoy, the actress who plays the Gravedigger, we will be seeing her again in the Jan. 20 episode of Bones. Now, I'm not exactly sure how that's going to all play out, but I will say that given all we know about that episode so far, it's clearly going to be very intense.

So, that seems to be all I have for you as of right now, but I'll be sure to keep you posted if I find out any other major Bones news, my friends. I hope you make it through the hiatus with relative ease, and here's to hoping the second half of Season 6 will be better than the first!

Brennan to Become Booth's "Rock" on Bones

Booth and Brennan. So beloved are these Bones characters that they made our list of favorite TV couples even though they're not a couple. He's even dating someone else!

In our mid-season Bones report card, we talked about how her recent epiphany in "The Doctor in the Photo" may help Brennan turn the corner and pursue her soul mate.

Before she can be Booth's lover, though, she must be his rock.



Executive producer Stephen Nathan says that the upcoming story line about a sniper is going to turn Booth's world upside down - and Brennan will be right there with him.

"Booth is forced to confront the life that he led [as a sniper in the Army] when he sees a guy who's pervert what, to Booth, was a noble profession," he says. "The need Booth has to bring this guy to justice is going to hang over us for the rest of the year."

In the meantime, he will look to Temperance for support. "Whatever his relationship with Hannah, Brennan has always been the closest person in his life," Nathan says. "The sniper will affect Booth and Brennan in a very profound way."

The FOX series, Bones, has been a mainstay for the network. Bones is now in its sixth season, and the series seems to be getting better and better each year. The show is not only a success in the USA, but is popular all over the world. Much of the shows success can undoubtedly be attributed to its main stars, Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz, who have great chemistry.

Bones – The Complete Fifth Season on DVD and Blu-Ray

The first time I watched Bones it was under protest. Chloë, my granddaughter, was spending the summer, and every afternoon one of the cable stations showed two or three episodes which, at first, seemed to me the stupidest show on TV. (Jersey Shore had not yet begun its reign under that title.) After about a half dozen episodes, however, I started paying attention and I was hooked.

By the time the fifth season began, I had seen every episode from the previous four seasons. Not only was I watching every day, but I was also keeping track of the episode names so that I could recognize when an episode I’d never seen was shown. Okay, “fanatical” might be a good word.

One of the things I dislike most about serial television dramas is the inclusion of too much “soap opera,” too many details and events in the lives of the protagonists. This flaw, however, is one of the big attractions Bones offers. And it’s not just the lead characters (played by Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz)—the supporting characters (played by Michaela Conlin, TJ Thyne, Tamara Taylor, and John Francis Daley) all have involving, complex personal lives. The ensemble cast provides texture and emotion to these characters. Forensics was the attractant, but the give and take of relationships make stories even more engaging. As far as drama…well, I’m never quite convinced that Bones isn’t more comedy than melodrama.

Now available on Blu-Ray and DVD, Bones – The Complete Fifth Season (“Beyond the Grave Edition”) delivers all 957 minutes (22 episodes) of the 2009-2010 season on six discs. The DVD special features are a major selling point, “The 100th Episode with Director David Boreanaz,” audio commentaries on and extended versions of select episodes, “The Bodies of Bones” featurette, deleted scenes, and the ever-popular gag reel.

Bones – The Complete Fifth Season is a terrific gift for Bones fans—and maybe even their grandparents. Having all the episodes, and being able to follow the personal stories chronologically, is a pleasure. The bonus features make it all the more worthwhile.

Bottom Line: Would I buy Bones – The Complete Fifth Season? Are you kidding? Bones is one of my two guilty pleasures — I wouldn’t miss out on having my own copy.
