tania: ok lang yung first session, in fact, maganda yung results. the problem started in the second session when the derma increased the intensity, dun na nagka-inflammation. I don't wanna remember it...

mike: yeah, it was at the ust hospital and akala ko mura na yung P4000 kasi bago lang yung technology dito sa pinas, that was 2 years ago. 17 lang ako nun kaya siguro sensitive pa skin ko, hindi na ako nag-complain, I might die of shame! hehe

Lucky Pinay, I guess its human error. The derma erred in increasing too much the machine intensity. Grabe na nga ang singil, grabe pa ang result. Still, I would say IPL is an excellent hair removal technology in the hands of an experienced operator. Dermas who just borrow machines from the derma dept of a hospital may not be that experienced compared to operators of skin care centers who use their own IPL machine everyday.

thanks for the heads up, lucky_pinay. will make sure to consult the IPL machine operator first prior to my second session. sana naman they refunded your money after what happened to you.

I suppose we all have our own opinion based on personal experiences. I have to say that Diode is better for me. IPL is more complicated in a sense because it has other functions aside from removing the hair. Diode machine only targets the hair which is exactly what I need. I went to the Asian Hospital, and I had treatment done with a dermatologist I can pm you the contact no. of my derma if you want

Diode laser is not only for hair removal. It can also be used in laser skin resurfacing and tattoo removal. It will also require adjustments in energy intensity depending on results needed.

please pm me the number of your derma green_apples, thanks... i was actually just thinking about going to Dr. Grace Chua (Ty?) I can't remember the name, she's my sister's derma and she seems to be very good. I want to get rid of all these skin problems once and for all

This is absolutely true. Yes, it depends on the intensity. There are other lasers though which are also used for skin resurfacing and tattoo removal. Dermatologists would know more about this.

ang scary naman nito! balak ko pa namang magpa-laser, but definitely not in ust hospital. i wonder where's the best place to have my treatments? i've read the entire thread and godiva ata ang pinaka-ok.

any feedback from those who've tried other clinics recently? natakot din kase akong magka "zebra legs" which happened to a mendez client.

The first treatment i had was quite ok, i saw the results after 2 days tapos yung 2nd treatment sobrang disaster na, i itched for a few hours hangang sobrang pinapawisan na ako sa class dahil iba na talaga ang sensation. Naging inflammed nung gabi tapos nangati talaga.

This went on for 3 days until I called the derma tapos she prescribed some pills, naging ok na pero my underarms really got darker dahil siguro sa inflammation. So now, I have 2 problems to deal with tapos ang mahal pa ng treatment P4000 sa UST Hospital per session

Hi all, I've been reading the posts kaya lang parang wala pa yatang nagpa-remove ng hair sa legs. Yung kasi yung matagal ko nang plan. Can anyone tell me how much it is per session? I saw a post na it's around 22k at Belo. Is that per session? Kung ganun, afraid...

And also, after seeing the before and after pics, super na-engganyo ako, but my underarms right now look like crap talaga because of years of shaving. How should I go about this? Whitening? Peeling? Then removal? And since I already have a lot of qs, reco na din kayo ng dermas/centers na talagang effective.

Hope you guys can help. Thanks!

For hair reduction, 5 to 8 sessions, depending on what your derma says.

** eto po ang concern ko.. okay na ba un deal na un? nagdown nako ng 18K+ tru credit card hsbc.. so feelig ko ala ng atrasan un
..mukhang ok naman un manager, dermatologist and mga staff nila, sana okay ****.. the manager assures me din na if ever my problem, sa knya *** ako punta.. then if di na-meet un goal na dpat fine hair na lang **** ang tutubo after those 7sessions, magbbigay raw sila ng mga follow ups.. and that's for free.

ako i had my laser hair removal sa facial care center, and sadly i am one of the few people that is not suited to it. i had three sessions and after each time i got cystic acne on the treated areas.

well i only had 3 sessions and that is definitely not enough to permanently remove or even thin hair growth.

Try the new Almay Harmony laser hair removal in Godiva Skin Station. Painless so its good even for brazilian laser hair removal. Very effective and fast. Sa Bel Air branch lang available.
