What's the most peculiar but the most effective study habit that you are doing?

Ako habang nakaharap sa computer at nakikinig ng mp3's o kaya eh may nakasuksok na headset ng iPod sa tenga ko habang nagaaral. Kayo?

May tanong ako sa mga nag-aaral dito sa harap ng TV:

    Paano nyo nagagawa yun?

  4. #4
i guess i have mastered the art of that!

first you must classify what tv show are you watching. if it's mtv or american idol, then you wouldn't have a hard time. if it's teleserye, you could miss a feww scenes naman diba? and it would seem that you didn't miss anything!

if it's a once a week show or a special feature: concentrate on your material during commercials. read your review material aloud so as to facilitate the comprehension. while you're watching, try to recall what have you reveiwed. as in habang tumatakbo ang bida, alalahanin mo muna kung ano yung last set of terms na minemorize mo! ilan lang siguro to... pero pagnasanay ka na... mag-aadapt na lang talaga!

onga pala. choose the topics you choose to review while watching. yung mga high memorization and understanding, iwasan na muna ang tv. kung high in understanding, few tv... high in memorization, pwede talaga mag-tv...

I can't study while I face the television. Though I can study with a good calm music as background.

The coming term, that is the 4th term, is my last term for my BS degree units. Full time MS student by July (1st term).

Mapua's School of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry offers double degree programs like BS in CHE and CHM. It also offers the country's first triple degree program CHE-CHM-BT.

Mapua offers such double majors. De La Salle, too.

The common thing with the schools who offer more than double majors in one package than the others is their academic calendar not being semestral.

And hell, I just realized it recently.

  16. #16
Would it be better if schools under semestral system would offer double/triple degree programs? Coz it'll give its students more time to study. If schools having trimestral and quarterm systems can do it, they can do it as well.

It would take more time for semestral schools, IMHO.

  19. #19
^ Yep. Not so sure if somebody dared taking such program in such a short span of time (due to QuarTerm). I have a friend (CCE) taking up double degree program and super dooper hirap daw talaga.
