I was in Clark Air Base in 1986, meron flight from Okinawa so, visited my brother there who lives inside Clark, then the EDSA-I happened, No TV, no radio except Radio Veritas and FEN(Far East Network). That event is very emotional, makita mo yung mga tao, sumasalubong sa tangke ng Phil. Marines and the best shot of a foreign news service were young girls from rich families putting flowers on the gun muzzles of Filipino soldiers who are waiting orders to attack Camp Crame and Aguinaldo where Enrile and Ramos are settled down.
The best help that they got are from the TV/Movie personalities that perform to entertain the crowd all night, I can not name them, but there are lots of people in the limelight that participated even if their Ninong or Ninang were Ferdie and Imelda.

From then on, I keep going back to Manila at least after every 2 years, meron naman changes, but it got crowded. More people from the south try their luck in Manila or make manila as a staging ground for their work overseas.

We just could not bring back the past. Come to think of it, we are in better shape than other African Nations who are still in Civil war since the 1800's and some nations are still on the state of famine.

the two songs of the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution:

    MAGKAISA
    (Tito Sotto, Homer Flores)
    Virna Lisa

Noon, ganap ang hirap sa mundo
    Unawa ang kailangan ng tao
    Ang pagmamahal sa kapwa ilaan

Isa lang ang ugat na ating pinagmulan
    Tayong lahat ay magkakalahi
Sa unos at agos ay huwag padadala

    Chorus 1:
    Panahon na ng pagkakaisa
Kahit ito ay hirap at dusa

    Chorus 2:
    Magkaisa (may pag-asa kang matatanaw)
At magsama (bagong umaga't bagong araw)
    Kapit-kamay (sa atin s'ya'y nagmamahal)
    Sa bagong pag-asa

    Ngayon, may pag-asang natatanaw
    May bagong araw, bagong umaga
Pagmamahal ng Diyos isipin mo tuwina

    (Repeat Chorus 1 & 2)

    Chorus 3:
    (Magkaisa) May pag-asa kang matatanaw
(At magsama) Bagong umaga't bagong araw
    (Kapit-kamay) Sa atin s'ya'y nagmamahal
    (Sa bagong pag-asa)

    Chorus 4:
Panahon na (may pag-asa kang matatanaw)
Ng pagkakaisa (may bagong araw, bagong umaga)
Kahit ito (pagmamahal ng Diyos isipin mo tuwina)
    Ay hirap at dusa

    Coda:
    Magkaisa at magsama
    Kapit-kamay sa bagong pag-asa

    Magkaisa...

    ----------

    HANDOG NG PILIPINO SA MUNDO
    (Jim Paredes)
    Various Artists

'Di na 'ko papayag mawala ka muli
'Di na 'ko papayag na muli mabawi
Ating kalayaan kay tagal natin mithi
    'Di na papayagang mabawi muli

    Magkakapit-bisig libo-libong tao
    Kay sarap palang maging Pilipino
    Sama-sama iisa ang adhikain
    Kelan man 'di na paalipin

    Refrain:
    Handog ng Pilipino sa mundo,
    Mapayapang paraang pagbabago
    Katotohanan, kalayaan, katarungan
Ay kayang makamit na walang dahas
    Basta't magkaisa tayong lahat

Masdan ang nagaganap sa aming bayan
    Nagkasama ng mahirap at mayaman
    Kapit-bisig madre, pari, at sundalo
Naging Langit itong bahagi ng mundo

Huwag muling payagang umiral ang dilim
Tinig ng bawat tao'y bigyan ng pansin
    Magkakapatid lahat sa Panginoon
    Ito'y lagi nating tatandaan
    (repeat refrain two times)

    Coda: Mapayapang paraang pagbabago
    Katotohanan, kalayaan, katarungan
Ay kayang makamit na walang dahas
    Basta't magkaisa tayong lahat!

I was there on day 3 with a couple of friends and I remember a priest snapped a picture of us. I had my arms up making the 'laban' sign. I've been wondering who that priest was and how I can get a copy of the picture for the last 20 years.

Most likely they are Jesuits or from La Salle, the Dominican priests came late as usual. If you can go to their library and research, it could be there.
THere are some books with pictures taken from all sources, it cost around $30-$49, author was a female. I saw it long time ago.
I just saw some highlights of the event broadcast by FEN and some performance of Pinoy singers. Those are memorable and awesome happenings. Who knows, that event might happen again. Most peeps will have Cell-phone with Camera ready.
