"OK" salaries are relative. What were you making when you got the offer?

I think it's quite low for a person having 5 years experience in the field of IT. But then I know others who have a much lower salary than that.

because my friend is working as a QA tester (I.T.)...and he told me that his Salary was (30K)....considering its his 3rd job....
    so is it fair enough?

I think the rates for QA tester are lower than those who work in development or support so I think it's reasonable enough.

im in sales, working for 7 years already. receiving lower than 30k/month. but, sales people are incentive driven..dun kami bumabawi. i guess for IT peeps, medyo mababa nga the 30k. baka naman different field naman papasukan mo? weigh your options, check the "other" offers and always look on the possibilities.

incentives, trip incentives quarterly, free car with free fuel and maintenance, free meals, lahat pwede ko reimburse basta sa work (toll, parking, etc.) and pinaka importante jan hawak ko time ko.

HI, what industry do you come from? I'm in sales too but we don't have free meals only free meals if we are with clients. I'm from logistics(like fedex).
& we don't get a free car only maintenance, gas, parking etc.

    yes for a frsh grad................

Your first task is to compute all your living and luxury expenses plus your projected expenses and desired savings in the future. After doing this computation, only then can you say whether P30k salary is okay.

Also, most employees will always claim that they are underpaid whatever salary they are getting. You'll just have to switch jobs if you want more money and you think your career is getting stagnant or moving too slow.

Pretty good for a 2-4 years experience. Pero salaries are just that IMO, just a part of the business production costs why not own the production itself and not term your income as salaries and reterm it into profit.

Here's a tip: when looking at compensation, don't look at the monthly figure. Look at the annual compensation. Why? Because companies have different payout methods.

    Company A may pay you 40k/month @ 13 months = 40k x 13 = 520k.

    Company B may pay you 35k/month @ 16 months = 35k x 16 = 560k.

You actually end up earning more from Company B, even if you get less on a monthly basis.

So don't look at the monthly figure. Always focus on the annual compensation. What you get per month may look attractive but sometimes it's used to gloss over the fact that your total annual compensation is lower than what's expected.

Hello, Im from a national distribution company (consumer items). I handle 3 accounts, 1 sub distributor for shopwise, robinsons, metro gaisano, tropical hut, etc. and 2 accounts (supermarket chain) that we directly cover because of business plans.

Anyway, some of our benefits in sales are:
car (option to buy in 5 years at 20% market value)
free meals (pag home base ka 1 meal lang pero pag out base 3 meals)
revolving fund for everyday expenses na charge sa office
naka shell fleet card kami so charge lang namin dun yung fuel
    monthly incentives
    quarterly incentives
    and madami pa.

hindi aabot 30k salary namin pero happy naman ako.

    average salary namin ay 18t
