sinong meron nung air cooler na gumagamit ng ice packs at tubig? effective ba?

There are evaporative air coolers available for sale in Ortigas Home Depot. The brand is Xier.
I also found a smaller version sa appliance section ng Blims sa second floor ng Ortigas Home Depot. Magic-something yung brand.
magstick ka nalang sa aircon kasi hindi effective yung air cooler eh, kasi before nagpalit din ako from aircon to air cooler then hindi ko nagustuhan yung air cooler kasi kahit anong dami ng nilagay kong ice/water hindi ko pa din maapreciate yung air cooler. o kaya naman gamit ka nalang ng electric fan.
yung a/c ng samsung na digital, yung may energy saver. papatay sya mag-isa tapos mag-on ulit pag medyo nawawala na lamig. mga halos kalahati ng consumption ng kuryente mawawala pero malamig pa rin kwarto.
*bump*
guys share naman kayo ng experience with air coolers. Sobrang init kasi and I'm thinking of buying one. Is it worth my money or electric fan na lang?
Like with most establishments, they use aircon + air cooler. Dehumidifier+humidifier. I tried it in our office...I switched the A/C to 25-26degrees then use the air cooler at the same time. It shaved at least 1k in our electric bill.
di po yata advisable ang air cooler kung marami kayo mga electronic items/gadgets sa bahay like computers, sound systems etc cause yung hangin is medyo moist that can affect pcb's of them.
^^ah ganon ba?
I've been using my Tundra air cooler for three years now. OK pa naman. Never used ice since nakakalamig na yung tubig lang. I find it a lot better than electric fan.
Important note when buying:
Look for a cooling pad (located at the back) that is honeycomb like. Never buy those units with just a net as their cooling pads.
When using:
Unlike A/C, dapat open yung windows mo para may constant flow yung air. It will NOT work in enclosed places, there has to be an open window.
if i were you, skip it. lalong mas malagkit ang feeling kasi high humidity tayo dito then pag naglagay ka ng air cooler, lalong mas humid
I see, okay!
Wala na akong choice but to bathe every night before going to bed.
Thank you mga pards!
Maganda yung Iwata brand.
