Yung ibang courses pa nga, merong pang drawing test... Bago interview..

yup, meron pang interview. nung time namin, ('98 kasi ko nag 1st year-hrm) meron ding hindi pumapasa sa interview. Madali lang naman questions, bakit HRM? bakit UST? Why you think you have the qualifications to be an hrm student.

Pinag speech, declaim or even as a tour guide.

    Good Luck!

tama silang lahat... ako First Year sa UST HRM.. would you mind sharing my experience... eto, first choice ko talaga Journ and CommArts sa AB but I failed both preferences kaya nalipat ako sa HRM.. buti naman pumasa ako... ang saya!!! then after nun, may interview pa rin talaga... mejo nakakatakot ang mga tanong.. pero madali lang talaga..
kelangan mo lang mag-english parati at ipakita ang sincerity mo... tinitingnan nila yung personality... tinatanong nila yung talents mo... ako sabi ko, marunong akong kumanta, umarte, sumayaw... then tinanong nila ako kung ano sa tingin ko ang HRM.. gaya nga ng sabi nila.. ganun... tapos naaalala ko pa, ang sagot ko dun sa tanong na yun is: "HRM is somewhat related to Culinary Arts, that's what I know about it, I'm into the arts so I wanted to try it". tapos nanlaki yung mata nung interviewer na tipong parang mali yung sagot mo... then tinanong nga niya ako, WHy UST?? DO YOU COOK??? Etc.... tapos sinabihan niya ako na HRM is a very Tiring Course... tapos sabi ko, "I'm willing to take the task".. yun ... tapos sinabi niya sakin na kung siya lang ang magdedecide, ipapasa na niya ako pero ang HRM Board pa rin ang mag-sasala sa mga applicants... she told me na: I'd like to See YOu here in UST coz you have the personality to be a hotelier and a restaurateur... yun!!!
    kaya mo yan!!!
good luck and all the best!
Seek God's WILL and everything will be put in its proper place... totoo yun!

thanks to all replies.....i've finally receive the good news that i passed the course....all i need is the interview...

Ace the interview process, and then welcome to UST. Good thing, the freshman prof that everyone tries not to get is already retired. Probably the batches who are now in UST's HRM didn't get the chance to take CHEM100 under Quetulio, boy, was she something...

    Good luck!

when i entered ust in 2003, i passed architecture and civil eng'g respectively. The examinations were different from other courses, tapos may drawing pa. i didnt have any interview whatsoever. Ayun, 13 sections kami nung first year.. last school year, 10 sections na lang. ngayon 3rd year ko, ewan ko lang..

then kung pumasa ka na at nakapag-enroll, you have to consider certain things like:
1.) Masyadong magastos ang HRM - We recently had a tour to Palawan at ang fee ay P13,982 yeah.. ganung kamahal pero enjoy! 3 days kami dun..
