to those who like the F&C at Fish & Co. til the end of Nov they have an eat all you can F&C promo from noon to 5pm M-Th. for only 295. at their GB3 and Shang branches. Just FYI.
anybody tried the fish & chips sold in the food choices at trinoma? forgot the name but i think it's called "chuck something.."
If that is the same Chuck's Grubberie Fish and Chips in Mercato Centrale, then yes that is good. They serve it with a great vinegar also, like how Fish and Chips is traditionally served.

Another place that we triedd that has great Fish and Chips is Howzat Bar in Kalayaan Avenue.
And last, the one from Draft in Fort Bonifacio is great also (aside from their beers, of course)
Just be prepared to spend. Among the three, Draft comes out the most expensive.

Hey guys do you know any good resto in Makati that has really good fish and chips aside from fish & co?![]()
@waywayweyes
i just searched the net and found out that it is called "chuck's grub".
according to the site where i've got the pic, they only have two branches. one in rockwell and the other in trinoma.
long time ago... there was this stall in fast foods called SEA BEAUTY... think they used tuna for the fish n chips. my sis and i loved it. sadly it closed down in the 90's
i'll try chuck's grub next time. i hope it will not disappoint me.
chuck's grub will not disappoint you. seryosong masarap. however, they are not cheap. for a fish and chips stall, i got to spend Php. 1,000.00 to curb my hankering.
i tried all 4 fish types and they are all good.
for me TGIF and Fish and co. medyo pricy but sulit naman
^
yup kahapon ko din lang nalaman sa spot.ph. hahahah!
natikman ko na rin sa wakas yung chuck's grub fish and chips!
Chips(Fries): masarap naman lalo na pagsinawsaw sa garlic mayo.
Garlic Mayo: Lasang Shawarma Sauce hahaha!
Vinegar: common cane vinegar. nothing special
- Bugsy's Bar and Bistro
- Fish & Co
- Slammer Burgers
- Chili's
Di ko pa natry lahat, yung sa Bugsy's and Fish & Co pa lang.Ok naman. Masarap pareho.

Oh my, this thread got me researching for that British pub in Alabang with UK grocery items and the best fish and chips I've had. Had lunch there for another assignment.
Found it!
http://www.unionjacktavern.com.ph/me...tid=13&filter=
The best fish and chips I've had was from Union Jack Tavern in Festival Mall Alabang. Description says "it's John Dory Fillet coated in our beer batter, served with hand-cut chips and traditional mushy peas. Union Jack Tavern's signature dish!"
This place also serves good carbonara.![]()
I want my fish fresh so those chain restaurants are an obvious hell no on my list.
+1 for UJT. Added treat is doing some Brit grocery shopping in their little store.
