Have you even tried to talk to him/her about this? I can't say I know what it feels but giving too much emotional investment over someone that doesn't pay you emotional dividends might be too costly.

I don't know if you have defined your relationship because you're not sure with the label you posted. Know where you stand and stand like a man.

another sad thing is when you and your friends outgrow each other that it feels like you're different persons now.. i hate that feeling. it happened to me a lot of times. have lost a number of friends because of that.. important talaga yung constant communication with your friends.

i think you need God's help, why don't you pray before and after sleep or go to church every week? i felt the same way too, but then when i came close to him, my life was redefined.

suggest ko sayo, know your purpose in life. if you already know your purpose hindi ka na di mo na mararamdaman yan (syempre isama mo tulong ni JC).

^^nakaka-relate ako diyan, minsan kasi di sinasadya-kailangan mag-abroad ni ganyan or talagang malayo tirahan nila... so tendency geographically speaking it's impossible to be as close as before. yung mga friends na nakilala mo back in high school-as much as you wanted to revive the friendship-parang yung years apart makes you feel strangers w/ each other. parang blessing na lang yung mangilan-ngilan na talagang na-maintain yung communication after highschool or college days. sad to say... nagsisiraan pa if wala masyadong balita dun sa tao. sa facebook naman-may awkward phase pa rin if subukan mo i-chat. you just ran out of things to type-masyado naman parang OFF if mag-reminisce ng pinagsamahan sa chat.

-you really have to value na lang the ones you really have right now. they're usually the ones who really KNOW & understand you.

-kumbaga people from the past will always judge you the way they knew you back then PLUS THE INFOS/RUMORS they hear ABOUT you from other people who doesn't really know you too well too in this present time. it's up to them which one to believe.

-talagang mas mabuti pa nga na to know as much people as you can. although the risk of meeting new rotten ones is a possibility.

Sometimes being lonely is just not being comfortable within your own skin. Maybe try to build a better relationship with yourself, learn to love yourself more. Do more stuff you like and treat yourself better. sometimes reflecting and being more spiritual does the trick.

I've been feeling alone for the past few days because of a problem at work. Because of a simple misunderstanding, I wasn't able to do an assignment I wasn't aware was assigned to me and the whole thing was blown out of proportion. My officemates and wife offer their constant support and encouragement but since I'm at the center of the issue, I can't help feeling alone.
