Hello! It's Christmas again and I'm supposed to write solicitation letters to our suppliers. Actually, I have these words together:
We would like to invite you to attend our annual Christmas Party to be held on Thursday, 22 December 2005, at 5pm. Please bring gifts. Thank you.
But then they sound too straightforward and tactless. I need something with a livelier and more indirect tone. The main purpose of the letter is to ask for raffle prizes. They don't really need to come. Can you suggest anything? I would very much appreciate samples. Thanks thanks!!
