here's my take on the second article...my gulay naman, the guy needs a break. he should be enjoying his privacy during the time that he was in the bar. of course, if i were peachy, i'd be disappointed too but there's a time for everything. it just so happened that the time when he was having a nice break while in a bar was not the roit time for constantine to get his autograph and picture taken. aba e di sana ang ginawa ni peachy ay pumila ng pagkahaba-haba at bumili ng KQ para makakuha ng pirma ni con! haaay, sakit sa ulo!

I knew Con had his Divo moments way before. heh. His tour here just opened my eyes that he's really a real person. So, yeah. Whatever. If what Nina Corpuz posted in her blog were true, too bad for her. I bet she did not gave LOVE! (hugsandpuppies) to greekboy. As for the 2nd article, I don't believe it all. Since merong girl na nagpapicture with him sa bar so...wtf. it's his alone time. we fans had to buy that lecheng KQ CD just to meet and greet him. Puucha, 5 seconds! P100 per second noh. Loka! Magbayad sya! There's a time and place for everything. Kahit ako nung nakita ko si GB sa MyCinema, we did not approach him kasi nakakahiya. We knew he was too tired and jetlagged. Ok na rin sa akin na nakita sya na medyo hindi pa tight ang security. he was happy to see us after his interviews. May video kami nito. Grabe. Talagang nag-sign pa sya na lusutan yung security para malapitan namin sya. We opted not to. Kaya yun. haha. sayang rin noh? wehehe.

I’m sure you’ve heard the buzz that the almost-American Idol is in town right now.Brooding, good-looking and seemingly charismatic, this rocker arrived in Manila to give love to his Filipino fans. But, to my astonishment, I received a vehement phone call from former beauty queen cum pageant organizer Peachy Veneracion that says otherwise.

A big fan of the show American Idol, when she was in the States, Peachy would vote every day for this Idol hopeful and watch him on the boob tube religiously. So you can imagine her surprise when he arrived in the Philippines for a tour. While out in Greenbelt having some drinks with the Miss Earth beauty queens and some of the metro’s bold and beautiful, Peachy was even more excited to see her favorite almost-Idol near their table in Mezze.

When she asked for a photograph from her almost-Idol she was utterly shocked when she was snubbed by the American singer who held out his hand to cover his face from her camera! To make matters worse, the almost-Idol according to her account, even asked the Ayala representatives there to tell Peachy that he just wanted to be alone and did not want to be hassled by any fans!

First of all, is that behavior is very unbecoming of a true Idol. If he wanted to get away from his fans, why didn’t he just stay in his hotel instead of parading himself about in Greenbelt? I’m not surprised he didn’t win. I’m sure Carrie Underwood would be less impolite with her Southern charm. Constantine, take a chill pill, puh-leez

this was written yesterday, nov. 25. first sentence pa lang mali na agad yung info nya...hello, con is now in US doing his usual stuffs. he already got a minute detail wrong. how am i supposed to believe the whole article? geeesh, halatang fabricated! nina capitalized too much on the fact that there's a single peachy who was not able to get con's signature and pic with him. uhm...hello...compare mo naman yan sa hundreds of peeps na nakapagpa-autograph and nakapag-pa-picture with con! people can be so out of line talaga!

we spent a ton of money watch the concert, get the KQ CD signed, and hopefully, get a pic or two of greekboy. and yeah, it was totally worth it. staring at him during the autograph session was a bonus. heh.

here's my take on the whole divoness thing. i think we've sorta agreed that tino unleashes the divo on people who have slighted him. now, i'm not saying this is right or what. but one thing i do believe in is that the greekboy will not act rudely without provocation. so greekboy, you're all about being yourself, but you were in the Phillippines, in the land of the most sensitive people in the whole wide world. heh.

to be honest with you dods, my membership in the fandom was firmly sealed with his personality. of course it started with the talent (and the looks. heh. i'm a conwh0re, so sue me.) but it was his dorkiness, his smarts (when he talks. and when he actually uses his brains. hehehe.) and his sincere gratitude for all he has gained over the past year that just won me over.

i guess that's why we're obsessed with the dude. he's not just some singer we got impressed with. he's the guy whose life we got to know about. not entirely his fault of course, he does have fans who can unearth anything the internet spews about him. hehehe.

ITA with C on greekboy not being a legit star. yet. he has the makings but he still has some checkpoints to reach, i guess. and what he does and how he acts on and off cam will make/break him. so yeah, i find the divoness funny and endearing to a certain extent. but like you all have said, not everyone feels the same. you cannot please everyone, but you sure as hell can make anyone have a decent enough opinion about you.

he's a celebrity. his life to subject to public scrutiny now. but that doesn't mean he isn't entitled to some semblance of a private life. we understand that. the thing is, some people don't. if i were peachy, and walked up to greekboy when i think the timing is right, and politely ask for an autograph, i would expect a polite reply in turn, whether he obliges or not. i would feel bad of course if he didn't agree, but again, i would respect his privacy. but if he would oh so rudely snub me? that i would hate.

then again, i became a fan of the talent in the first place. i'll probably just stick to that.

I hate nina corpuz.

First, she had the nerve to bad mouth Constantine. Second, she didn't even get her facts straight. Third, she thinks she's this hotshot journalist when in fact, she isn't. For cryin' out loud, she doesn't even have a career. So, why is she acting like one? Fourth, how dare her comment on Con's appearance when she herself is not at all pleasant to look at. As a matter of fact, she used to be ridiculed by her co-hosts in her former morning show because of her tasteless fashion sense, that is, if she's got any sense at all. She looks like a horse...kabayo. Just ask Ogie Diaz. Fifth, she had the audacity to suspect the people who were with her during her interview with Con as the ones who kept on sending her hate emails. Wow! That's really friggin' ridiculous. Who'd send her emails except for outraqed Con fans? Give us what is due to us. We should have the credit...Haha.

I don't want to talk about her anymore. I hate the fact that she's become quasi-famous (infamous is the right term for her) at Con's expense. Geez! This story reached the US and my GGG sisters knew of it before i did. Grr... I wish Cesar Montano bi@#h-slapped her when she got into his nerves for asking tactless questions.

Opinion...her opinion. Does it matter? No, but I hate her still. I hate her. Wait, if hate is not such strong a word for what I feel about her, then, I abhor her. If it's any consolation, the piece she'd written and the follow-up she did was mediocre. Even a high school paper would look good if compared to her sub-standard writing skills. Argh!
