It's a pinoy frenzy that we love to shop. that's why our malls are so big and modern even compared to those in the States and other Asian countries.
I just can't complete my shopping without going to shoppesville in greenhills. The choices are just so many, that sometimes mahihilo ka na sa kakaikot. but the buys are so cheap and most are of good quality. that is, if u have a good eye to scrutinize the fabrics, especially if they claim that they have the real thing.
I'm the kind of person who maximizes my shopping mileage, especially on jeans,so i go to sales at the stores in the malls such as, Diesel, Replay and Marlboro Classics. They really cut off their prices when they're on sale.
How about u? What shops do u love going to?

For clothes, I like going to Viva or Corso Marconi. For books naman, nothing beats Powerbooks in Megamall. They have excellent service--I returned a book I bought almost a year ago recently and they didn't hassle me about it...For CD's, MusicOne is tops for me. For electronics, computers, abubots and stuff--syempre Greenhills.

BadGirl: yeah, shangri-la is definitely a great mall. megamall kse is so cramped. the crowd sometimes just make you nauseous.
in shangri-la, you feel that ur a VIP when u enter the stores, they really treat u well. especially inside rustan's.
Ira: I've been to corso marconi only twice, but i was able to get whopping discounts on nice italian wear. although the place isn't that easy to find.

SHOEMART- Even if people say it's baduy, i find the best buys here! Blouses that sell for 500 in other stores sell for only 250-300 here!

TUTUBAN- Everything's soooooooo cheap!!! Beats the prices in Greenhills!

BAMBANG- They sell really really nice second hand clothing. Some tank tops even go for only 20 bucks each!

i thought shangrila was a hotel?? it's a mall too???

me.. Barnes and Noble for books

Macys and Marshall Fields for clothes

The best malls are the ones with awesome ambience... forget the stores.. eheh it' the ambience that counts..

Badgirl: Sorry to say ang dami nang nanakawan sa Shangrila Plaza. My aunt became one of the victims there.

Peps; You are so preppy pala. Armani boy. Hehehe. Dapat makita kita! Hehehe.

I love funky clothes. I love to shop sa People R People but their stuff are so expensive. Defect is also cool. When it comes to malls, I like Galleria, Shangrila, Greenhills and Glorietta. I hate Megamall cos of the crowd. Kung makikipag siksikan din man lang ako pupunta na lang ako sa Divisoria or Tutuban.

I want to design clothes. I love fashion kasi pero ayaw ata ng fashion. (mataba kasi ako) I want to open a gothic dress shop here pero wala atang market nun dito.

Kamatayan: Why would I return a perfectly good book, anyway? I returned a Willy Lamb book because the last 32 pages were missing. Of course, I didn't have the receipt anymore, although there was a bit of torn price tag at the back of the book where you can read "Powerbooks Megamall". Anyway, to make a long story short, I showed it to Customer Care, and they very quickly replaced it and apologised. No questions asked, of course. Sa nagdadala rin yan, 'pre. Kung mukha kang kagalang-galang...

Kamats: The reason why it took me so long to read that particular book is because I buy my books every 3-4 months. Usually I get at least 10 books. Kahit mayroon pa akong stocks na di pa nababasa, bibili na rin ako...just so happens that the Wally Lamb book was way down my book pile.

Mango, A|X, People are People and Polo Ralph are my favorite stores to shop from. I could really buy the whole of these stores talaga if i had d money hehe

Shangrila, i agree that of all shopping malls here in d country, it's d only place where i don't have to worry about carrying my backpack and walking without looking constantly at my back for people standing too close. when im in other malls, i would always have to think twice about bringing my backpack or changing bags coz of security purposes. Of course we'd have to also agree that incidents of nakawan but as BadGiRL said, anywhere we go, we always have to be careful talaga = )

Greenhills, yep it's ok for those who can walk, and walk....and walk the whole day hehe...that's not me, but i love GH anyways... i try not to stay for more than 3 hours lang nga... lalo na during d holidays, woah parang sardines na mga tao there eh! tulakan super kaya i don't go there during d holidays nalang
