recommended gimmik places

we're used to the 'typical' gimmik places such as ABG's, Fat Willy's, etc. what relatively new places could be recommended?

there's this 'new' place @ Malate called Suburbia. the bands there are really cool and people really come to party. it's @ Adriatico street.

what do u guys suggest?
