f0r5aK3n, Mat's weapon is called an ashandarei. By the way, I was playing Counterstrike and decided to change my nick to Mierin-Sedai (a.k.a. Lanfear). Two other players who I didn't know promptly changed theirs to Rand-Al-Thor and Asmodean. Just goes to show how popular WOT is (and how rich Robert Jordan must be!).

By the way, I also read Winters Heart already (my brother bought the hardbound copy for around 1,000 plus). I found some of the chapters pretty slow but it really does end with a bang.

Wow! I'm so lost with what's happening in WOT already.

Anyway, hi to all WOT fans. I've been reading the series since book one came out in National YEARS ago. Undoubtedly, galing talaga nung series. Yun nga lang, SOBRANG tagal in between sequels!!!

I have to confess that I had a hard time understanding when I was reading this thread. Have only read until Path of Daggers so completely blank ako about Winter's Heart. I noticed though that a lot of people are saying that the latest release is pretty good. Marami ba talagang nangyari? I have to confess that I was somewhat disappointed with Path coz practically nothing happened and the wait was so long.

Anyway, aside from the question above, I also wanted to ask regarding the running tally on the Forsaken. Ilan pa ba ang buhay, patay, at muling binuhay? I don't know how good a basis that is, but I'm using the count to guess how many more books till Robert Jordan wraps it up. Siguro when Rand has killed most of them (if not all), the Final Battle can begin na.

Perhaps Jordan should make a Wheel of Time Companion or something. Or better yet, END the series already.

I must admit, I stopped reading at Path of Daggers. I just didn't feel like the story was going anywhere anymore. And Min annoys me to no end. Maybe I'll pick up from Book 1 again after a year or so.
