I can't really say what my favorite book is (baka Great Hunt, o Shadow Rising, o Lord of Chaos, o... you get the picture ), but I know what it isn't, book 8 It was the only book I couldn't re-read, sobrang boring kaya patay ako when Winter's Heart comes out. Can't remember the latest events.

By the way have you guys heard about Snow and the whole uproar about it being sold at $5 as an e-book? Grabe sobrang daming nagalit... I wonder if the company who bought the e-rights will at least break even. And so far ang release date parin ng Winter's Heart ay November 7, yehey!!! How long do books take to get to the Philippines btw?

also, do you guys have the PC game The Wheel Of Time? I've been hearing a lot of good reviews about that game, pero wala pa ako mahanap na copy eh. if you guys have it, tell me what you think.

yes, ang sabi nga sa akin maganda daw yung game. Hindi siya masyado disappointing in terms of leniency to the storyline, pero mas doom-type of game daw siya...well, mas spawn or gauntlet legends type kasi may mga "magic" ka eh. You even have angreals and ter'angreals! hehe...

Dapat may signature tong bbs na to no? Sarap kasi ng ganito yung signature mo eh:

Yup, I've been reading it. The series has been getting sort of disappointing in the development lately, though. I didn't enjoy the last two books too much.

Who do you guys think is right for Rand? Elayne, Min, or Aviendha? I go with Aviendha.

As regards my favorite book, lahat sila favorites ko eh. Teka, kelan ba talaga i-release yung ninth book? I have memorized virtually all names in the series: from provinces and their kings/heads to Aes Sedai's with their Ajahs and stuff like that.

brownpau: Elayne will be kept busy as Queen of Andor. Avindha, I'm sure, will be part of the White Tower also and will become a powerful Aes Sedai in her own right. That leaves Min for Rand. But, Aviendha's rumored to be preggy. Geeez, imagine yourself in Rand's shoes.

One thing: if you read Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, you'll notice some parallelism between that and Jordan's WoT. (Actually nainis nga ako diyan eh.) The maps, for example, are similar. And the Shire is a lot like the Two Rivers.

One: kakatawa nga yon! Pero mas napa-*hithit ng hininga* ako nung Rand shielded and picked up both Egwene and Elayne at the same time!! Grabe talagang they were like kittens in his hands.

bronwpau and PauTOT: kay Elayne ako! Ewan ko bakit, pero di ko gano type si Min, siguro kasi she doesn't channel, at saka si Aviendha medyo nainis ako she got first dibs at Rand kahit she was supposed to be looking out for him, AUGH! And forgive me, pero I am very much impressed by her title, Royal Queen of Andor I'm thinking na since Aviendha and Min already had their turn with Rand (unless you count Rand and Elayne's few stolen moments and kisses in the Stone) si Elayne ang matitira sa dulo. brownpau ang dami akong nababasa na comments like yours, na RJ's WOT seem so similar to other previous fantasy works, and ang reply na nababasa ko is there is not one really original fantasy work because writers are either influenced by other authors or by mythology. I don't know if you would agree though And YES, I think Egwene will kick Elaida's Red Ajah butt and not just reclaim the Tower but make it very strong if not the strongest it has ever been. Remember one of Elaida's Foretelling? She thought she had proclaimed her own victory, but I believe she was Foretelling her utter defeat under the Real Amyrlin, Egwene al'Vere.

Oo nga! If you read Elaida's Foretelling carefully, she says "The Dragon Reborn will kneel before the Amyrlin and feel her anger" (or something to that effect). But the Foretelling doesn't say that Elaida will be Amyrlin when it happens! I really like Egwene. Naiinis lang ako kay Gawyn.

PauTOT: RJ said in one of his intterviews that there would be at most five more books after Winter's Heart.

Moiraine: Naku, I read that Aviendha's preggy from the predictions in the WOT FAQ.

brownpau and Moiraine: I think Elaida will not be stilled. Sayang no? Kasi di ba the White Tower must be stronger, so they can't afford to lose powerful Aes Sedai, and that clearly includes Elaida. But I also think that there will not be any violent confrontation between the Salidar group and the White Tower. Somehow, I think Egwene will get the Seat without resorting to force. But then again, it would be more exciting if they'll at least hurl lightnings and fireballs at each other.

But hey, I love the Forsaken!

brownpau I like Egwene too. Kakalungkot when she and Rand realized they weren't meant for each other. I try not to hate the good guys kasi ang hirap magbasa, nas-spoil ang enjoyment ko sa book if I'm irritated by them. Bakit ka naiinis kay Gawyn?? Kakakilig nga yong scene nila ni Egwene when he found out she liked him too... I love it when guys realize they aren't worthy of a woman's love Ang di ko talaga magustuhan na good guy ay si Faile kakainis puro nalang selos. And as much as Elaida can be irritating, I can't wait to see Padan Fain and Sevanna DEAD as doorknobs.

PauTOT a part of me wants the series to end... gusto ko na malaman how it all ends... will Nynaeve cleanse Saidin (sympre )? Who ends up with Rand? Will he die? How many of the Aiel will be left? Will there be a new Age of Legends? etcetcetc! Pero kasi pag natapos na... wala ka ng ilu-look forward to I don't know if I'll ever be able to enjoy other fantasy works after this. I'm afraid baka na-spoil na ng WOT ang ibang libro... I'll find out in a few days though, may magpapahiram sakin ng complete works ni David Eddings yey!

tRiStAn o nga ano... pero her 'crimes' are so grave kelangan ma-punish sya (Still!Still!!Execute!!!). And now that all the other strong channelers are coming out (Windfinders, Wise Ones, The Kin, and all the other girls being taken for training) there's no short supply of powerful channelers so she won't be missed Gusto ko narin makita ang come-uppance nya... she dreamt of having Egwene and Rand at her feet, tapos sya pala itong ibu-bully at ma-manipulate ni Alviarin. It's almost funny. I agree with you, I think there won't be, or not so much, violence in their confrontation para di masira ang White Tower. Can you imagine kung gano magugulat ang mga Tower AS when the Salidar AS suddenly Travels outside the Shining Walls!

Moiraine exakto! gustong gusto ko talaga yung character ni Nynaeve! sobrang nakakatawa ang pakipotan nila ni Lan and siyempre sobra ako na excite when I found out that she was working on cleansing the Saidin....she's a very powerful Aes Sedai and one who's destined for greatness.

and why would you want to kill Elaida? I'd much rather ma still na lang siya and be a helpless spectator na lang.

tRiStAn 5 more books!? my ghad! exciting, pero di ba kayo napapagod? like what Moiraine said, part of me wants to see the series end, and part of me wants it to go on forever....pero if it does go on for a long time...medyo impossible na magkaroon ng WOT movie noh? actually, yung kasi ang dati ko pa gusto eh, magkaroon ng movies....pero mukhang corny gawin movie, kasi medyo impossible na eh.

Moiraine: Well, wala tayong magagawa at magkakaroon talaga ng discrepancies yan. hehe...pero ok yung game kung sa games lang naman, pero di masyado pumatok sa market. Nakausap ko nga yung one of the testers in Legend Entertainment (the producer of the game) and he said himself na Legendent shouldn't have released the game a month after Quake 3's release, kasi by that time ang kilala sa market is yung quake 3, kaya sayang.

Oh, and may signatures na pala! Yay! Uunahan ko na kayo sa Carai Al Ellizalde ko!

And fave femme char ko nga si Nynaeve. She's just cute! Her mannerism of giving her long braid a tug is...just...CUTE!!!
