Hi! I haven't read the first book yet but I already have a copy. Actually, I wanted to buy it ever since I read an article about it in the inquirer. Sinabi ko binili ko sya para sa sister ko (who's 11)...when in fact i wanted to buy it for myself!

and after reading all your enthusiastic reviews, i can't wait to start reading!

katzmeeow: Ang galing noh?!? When I read the first book, sobrang natakot ako. I couldn't put it down and talagang after reading that, hinanap kaagad namin yung 3 other parts kse I can't wait to see how the story would progress. Sayang nga lang din coz next year pa nga yung labas nung 5th installment.

last month kolang nabasa harry potter nun pa pa lang summer meron na anyway *** masyadong gusto harry potter- cho chang love team i think mas ok kung harry-ginny but according to Rowling(we're not worthy!) they will fall in love with the wrong person in book 4.

Miracle: I let my sister read Book 1 and she really liked it. Now she's borrowing the other 3 books. I want to get the audio tapes or CDs nga so I can listen to them in the car!

novalee, I think its cheaper here, compared to prices from Amazon.com,... lalo na may sale (20% off 'ata)ang Powerbooks and Goodwill Bookstore ngayon. Paperbacks for books 1 & 2 are already available.

I've read books 1-3 and am still waiting for my turn to read book 4... if you plan to collect them though, might as well invest on the hardbounds.

nikolai: My sister downloaded the MP3 of book 1. Kaya lang sabi nya super haba daw nun kaya nadismaya ang loka. Oh well, I hope mabili ko rin yung mga audio tapes ng Harry Potter.

i really envy those who are reading harry potter for the first time i wish someone would cast a memory charm on me so my memory of harry would be deleted so i can read it again for the first time

I bought all 4 of the hardcover books right away coz I thought it would be worth it in the end. I was right! They're really nice books to keep so you won't be wasting your money. Plus Books 1 and 2 palang ang available here in paperback...

Books 1, 2 and 3 are PhP 659 (regular price) and Book 4 is PhP 859 (regular price). Powerbooks has an ongoing sale though, and you can get them at 20% off.

If you check out Amazon's website the books are around $12 (Books 1, 2 and 3) and around $15 (Book 4), but you'd have to add shipping charges pa. Plus they're here na so it's convenient to just get them here. No need to wait!
