I have read the seven books for several times already and the magic is still there... Every time I dive into Harry's world, I cannot help but feel exhausted, excited, thrilled and be on-the-edge. J.K. Rowling is really really good. I've been anxiously waiting for her next book... though I did not expect it to be a "Pottermore."

^Well she's said to be writing a political fantasy novel.

  8. #588
She is working on a children's book as in actual kids and not YA, about some kid who wants to be in politics. Glad we can see something entirely different from her, and it's more than welcome if someday, she decides to tap on the HP universe again.

Let me just share it with you. Like!

Do you ever stop to consider how incredible it is that our generation got to grow up with Harry Potter?

Years from now people are still going to be reading it, but we grew up with it. We had to wait years in between books and films, and we got to speculate about what was going to happen next. We saw Harry grow up alongside us. No other generation will get to have that experience.

I know I was in college when it came out in the movies, then I read the books in between the movie sequels, movie first then the book.

it was better for me that way, cos I dont want spoilers in the movie. But how inspiring it was, to study while the Harry Potter series was going on. Whenever I read my school books and started to get bored, I just imagined Hermione and how eager and enthusiastic she was with her studies.

Its like reading with them, whenever I weny to the library. It was really amazing.

My Ex used to laugh at me, calling the Books and Movies, childish. But I didnt care. I still love Harry Potter.

How my sisters and I got ready to watch the films, we would watch a film 3-4 times.

Thanks for all the memories HP. I surely miss them.

I have loved this series… I still do.

I remember the first time I saw the trailer for the Sorcerer’s Stone. I felt so thrilled that it was just as I have imagined reading it… It became my favorite movie of the series, because I think it was closest to the book (maybe because it was the shortest).

I remember not studying for my Hydraulics preliminary examinations because I just can’t stop thinking about The Goble of Fire. I.Just.Had.To.Finish.It.

The times I cried while reading the book: one- Dumbledore died, two- Dobby died.

This was how I taught my best friend to love reading.

I am happy my husband loves them as well. And I hope my kids will love them someday.

I think it’s time for me to re-read them for the nth time. I miss them.

I miss Harry Potter..hay...sana mag labas ng book 8 si J.K. Rowling... "Harry Potter: Life after Hogwarts" haha...kakamiss lang...

I started reading this when I was still in H.S (and now I'm working na)
I watched the movie first, out of curiosity...after watching it that's the time I tried reading the book and got hooked til the 7th (I read them thrice..the first time then when i miss it and before it shown in the big screen )...and I bought them all.. I have both copies (soft and hardcopy, i also have a copy of Tales of Beedle the Bard, etc.) ...yeah...that's how addicted I was back then (actually til now)...

I'll never forget growing up with this book
and because of Harry Potter nahilig ako magbasa ng books!!

Good for you that you cried only twice. I cried many times in many different scenes in the book.
