I've only read the first book but I'm hooked! I heard on FOX na 3.8 mil copies ang first printing nitong no.4:The Goblet of Fire, but they've already sold 3.5 mil+ already! There was also a review recently in the Inquirer. is it available locally already?

weye, the game is Quidditch, and that was brilliant of J.K. Rowling! It's like a hyper-combo version of football/basketball/et.al.

Rowling's style is similar to Roald Dahl, pero sa palagay ko mas magaling pa rin yung style ni Dahl.

People here in Chicago lined up early last Sat. to purchase his newest book. Lines started as early as seven in the morning 3hrs before opening. I'm not much of a reader but are his books good?

noisy cricket, so is it any good? i most certainly hope it is otherwise it would be a major disappointment for all the harry potter readers.

juve_grrrl10, thanks for the correction. i agree with, i still prefer dahl's writing style but harry potter is still, well, magical.

Anyway, to explain the subject i typed, I knew it!!!! Ron likes Hermione. I sniffed it when i was reading BOOK 2. I told my friend and she wouldn't believe it! Ron is incredibily jeaolous and Hermione is just tut-tutting his insane behavior.

weye, siguro ang pareho nga style nina dahl and rowling sa pagsulat pero ang tema nila ang iba, kay dahl may pagka-fantastic, kay rowling naman eh magic, di ba?

    The Goblet of Fire

This installment was probably the most intense of all four books perhaps because there was just so much conflict. The suspense was heart-stopping and came not only from the dark Lord's pursuit of Harry but also from the peculiar international competition. It was quite emotional when a rift developed between two main characters. But,despite all the drama, humorous lines were definitely not neglected; it'll still be able to draw a laugh or two out of you.

Also, Book 4 focuses on the 3 main characters growing up, experiencing typical adolescent problems added with a twist of magic....

The Harry Potter phenomena was also featured in the latest issues of TIME and Newsweek. There was an interview of JK Rowling there...

Gotta love Harry Potter. It's not your conventional fairy tale. I saw the (seemingly bottled blonde) J.K. Rowling on TV just this afternoon. As a promotional gimmick, she arrived at her book signing session in a marvelous old-fashioned train (like the one Harry Potter has to ride to go to the other realm).

hi sorry for the nick, i'm just really a HP fanatic. just wanted to share good (or maybe bad) news to all you guys... there's gonna be a Harry Potter movie and it's gonna come out November 2001. the casting isn't done yet, i think the auditions are still going on... and they prefer to have actors/actresses who aren't really known, or not known at all!

moreover, that kid from 6TH SENSE auditioned for the role of Harry and he was so good, so
    they might make an exception

hope you guys like my news!

ooooh ang cute ng kid na yun, he's eerie (diba in 6th sense?) and yet, innocent enough to become Harry Potter.

another one auditioning for the role is Liam Aiken, Susan Sarandon's son in the movie "Stepmom"
