I think when we meet the mother, that's when the series ends. No point seeing how Ted and the mother's love affair blossomed. It is titled, after all, How I Met Your Mother.

Yep, gotta agree, the introduction of Marvin will change the dynamics. But that just means they can do so much more, and that excites me!

i'll join you admin Caramba. i would have liked this ending if there weren't too many fillers these season. my thoughts about Robin and Barney - i was hoping for this but it kinda felt the journey to get there involves too many twists. i would have liked it if they continued the Nora-Barney-Robin triangle because at least, that makes sense. kasi parang pareho lang naman, pinalitan lang nila ng ibang character yung role ni Nora para lang magkaroon ng obstacle yung Barney-Robin love story.

About Ted and Victoria...I really liked her for Ted. but just like the Barney and Robin thing, medyo nawala na yung chemistry nila for me. parang pinilit lang isingit. they should've done more Victoria this season, but i guess they wanted the element of surprise. i miss the nonlateral storry telling style. too many breaks and replays too kinda added to the agony of waiting to the end of the season.

Season 8 will air during the 2012-2013 television season (September 2012 to May 2013). Producers have mentioned that this may be the last season due to actors' contracts. They have worked out two plotlines, one that would wrap everything up in the upcoming season and an alternative that would extend the storyline to the ninth season.
