The Life Of Mahatma Gandhi by Louis Fischer
- a very good book
The Kite Runner, one of the best book I've ever read. The author, Khaled Housseini, gave honor to his motherland, Afghanistan. You'll have a change in perspectives after you read this book, it tells a lot about Afghan culture, the people, the old-Afghanistan plus the story of friendship, betrayal and unconditional love.
Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. A book written to commemorate the heroism of US army after the 9/11. A heartbreaking story of unconditional love and of letting go. A moving love story!

A PRISONER OF BIRTH - JEFFREY ARCHER
International bestseller and master storyteller Jeffrey Archer is at the very top of his game in this story of fate and fortune, redemption and revenge.
If Danny Cartwright had proposed to Beth Wilson the day before, or the day after, he would not have been arrested and charged with the murder of his best friend. But when the four prosecution witnesses are a barrister, a popular actor, an aristocrat, and the youngest partner in an established firm's history, who is going to believe his side of the story.
Danny is sentenced to twenty-two years and sent to Belmarsh prison, the highest-security jail in the land, from where no inmate has ever escaped.
However, Spencer Craig, Lawrence Davenport, Gerald Payne, and Toby Mortimer all underestimate Danny's determination to seek revenge, and Beth's relentless quest to pursue justice, which ends up with all four fighting for their lives.
Thus begins Jeffrey Archer's most powerful novel since Kane and Able, with a cast of characters that will remain with you long after you've turned the last page.
And if that is not enough, prepare for an ending that will shock even the most ardent of Archer's fans.

MARLEY AND ME: LIFE AND LOVE WITH THE WORLD'S WORST DOG - JOHN GORGAN
* The heartwarming and unforgettable story of a family in the making and the wondrously neurotic dog whot taught them what really matters in life *
John and Jenny were just begining their life together. They were young and in love, with a pefect little house and not a care in the world. Then they brought home Maley, a wiggly yellow furball of a puppy. Life would never be the same.
Marley quickly grew into a barreling, ninety-seven-pound steamroller of a Labrador retriever, a dog like no other. He crashed through screen doors, gouged throught drywall, flung drool on guests, stole women's undergarments, and ate nearly everything he could get his mouth around, including couches and fine jewelry. Obedience school did no good --- Marley was expelled. Neither did the tranquilizers the veterinarian prescribed for him with the admonishment, "Don't hesitate to use these."
And yet Marley's heart was pure. Just as he joyfully refused any limits on his behavior, his love and loyalty were boundless, too. Marley shared the couple's joy at their first pregnancy and their heartbreak over the miscarriage. He was there when babies finally arrived and when the screams of a seventeen-year-old stabbing victim pierced the night. Marley shut down a public beach and managed to land a role in a feature-length movie, alway swinning hears as he made a mess of things. Through it all, he remained steadfast, a model of devotion, even when his family was at its wit's end. Unconditional love, they would learn, comes in many forms.
Is it possible for humans to discover the key to happines though a bigger-than-life, bad-boy dog? Just as the Grogans.
