for me, reading a book that i read as a child or teenager takes me back to the time when i first picked up that book. i've left most of my sweet valley, nancy drew/hardy boys, and other pocketbooks with my younger sister, but i would love to read them all again one of these days

me, me, me! i still read my old books from my grade school / high school years. lalo na when i'm bored to death and couldn't think of anything else to do. pero siyempre, i only re-read my favorites lang.

heheheh....pati Archie comic books, binabasa ko pa rin! to think na 26 yrs old na 'ko, ha (ooops! buko age ko!)

theres nothing wrong with readings young adult books or childrens books.. theyre light and easy to read, and they make you reminisce about the old days.

hey ako din kaya? it's not that i'm old na at 22...

guess i started young with adult-themed novels kaya i missed out or had less of young adult reads.

i am now reading the samurai girl series, yung tillerman cycle of cynthia voight, hardy boys and of course yung fearless series ni francine pascal!!! gaia rulezz!!

yung teen chick lit, gusto ko pa din. as ive said nga, ngayong i'm earning, it's payback time!! hehehehehe!! mabibili ko na sila unlike before na nakikibasa lang ako sa national o sa powerbuks.. hehe!

    *present!!!*

I read ALL kinds of books.

But for the Young Adult category, (at present) I'm hooked with the Princess Diaries series, Mates and Dates series, and the new Simon and Schuster Young Adult releases such as Royally Jacked.

old habits die hard... simula ng nauso yung Sweet Valley series nagbabasa na ko! hehe. i turn to these books (pati Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, and Babysitters' Club) when my brain's about to turn to soup from reading med books.

favorite ko pa rin yung Super Chillers ng SVTWins tsaka yung mga special editions (yung mga A Christmas Without Elizabeth tsaka yung story na nakatanggap sila ng harlequin dolls for christmas). =)

i do too. thank God I have a sister who buys a lot of them.

Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle in Time, and the accompanying books.

I also read Capturing Blue by Lois Lowry.

Also, The Roman Mysteries series. Nothing wrong with reading young adult. Galing ng writers eh.

    NANCY DREW!

about a year ago, my sister and i started reading books like "a wrinkle in time," "his dark materials" trilogy, "coraline" and those series of books like "narnia," "harry potter," and that one by lemony snicket.

my mother was wondering why we were regressing!

but it's good to keep in touch with the child in you once in a while. as well as read something that doesn't deal with real-world monsters.

  17. #37
i still read those kind of books.. sort of a breather minsan e...

  19. #39
