I agree. It was more than school pride. It hinted arrogance. It actually made me laugh because at that time, i was talking to my 3rd year cousin from UPD who was asking for my help for her take home exam in English.

hindi ****, it's a very pathetic declaration of one's identity, or should i say masyado sila proud of who they are yet they don't have anything to be proud of, morality wise, values wise i can't see anything from them aside from left and right opposition to what they think is wrong well in fact it has nothing to do with them. U.P. carries the Philippine flag in its name shame on the students who says that they care in this country that's y they are doing such acts.

I think they just meant either a) they're from UP, kayo?, or b) they're rooting for UP, eh kayo? - no bias whatsoever, I think this is just what the people behind the banner wants to say.

But why does it seem like 95% of those who find the banner insulting from UST? Anong meron? - FYI, my bf's from UST so I don't have anything against UST. Nakakainis lang yung mga ibang tao who always finds something wrong with what we do and makes us appear like contrabidas all the time.

never an insulting statement!i find it really arrogant.

madami ng competitions (be it in academe or sports) na tinalo ng Ateneo, UST at DLSU ang UP. be it in debates which is dominated by ateneo and ust, licensure exams, international recognitions.etc.

UP is just UP.. i don't find their institution interesting. i just love ateneo. haha

so be it, UP students are just conceited. fyi, ACET is way harder than UPCAT. duh!
