    Maging Akin Ka Lamang - as Rosita Monteverde, probably Lorna Tolentino at her best ever .. while watching the movie you were so immersed in that character - b*tchy, conflicted, and cruel, but at the same time a tragic character longing for love and acceptance... Lino Brocka was a genius of his time.. He executed the character of Rosita Monteverde on screen so perfectly that you can't helped but to love its brilliance and cinematic gem. I remembered a few years ago, while LT was making Mano Po with Susan and Zsazsa.. she decided to accept the role of the kontrabida mistress of Christopher de Leon because she missed being the anti-heroin which reminded her of the movie Maging Akin Ka Lamang where she won the well deserved Best Actress award....
