Loved that Game! Isn't it also called Stratego? Anyway, where can I get the game? I don't have one anymore and I'd like to find it...

Great concept. I want to see yung lifesize replica of the game (with real people playing the part) na nakita ko sa kanilang guide.![]()
super aliw ng game na to! tapos filipino pa gumawa diba??? ganda ng concept... yung pinakamababa ang rank (private) ang pwede pumatay sa pinakamataas! (spy) dapat magaling ang tactics dito...![]()

Loved the game. Don't have anyone to play with anymore though.
Somebody should come up with a computer freeware version. (Beats Solitaire.)
May Angels smile upon you,

Does anyone know of any site that lets you play this game online? Or would you play it over the internet if it was available?
I love this game kaso I don't play it often. Pero tama si Yoshi, it has a great concept!![]()
anyone ever tried putting the flag up front? i tried that once against my brother, he thought it was a 5 star general or something... he cleared the way towards his base![]()

i learned the game when i was in grade school, our school even had this electronic board where you put the dueling pieces into two slots two determine who wins, no need for an arbiteri introduced my younger sister and brother to the game and they both emerged champions during the intrams, ako hindi sheesh

better play game of the generals than
chinese checkers
I love this game... It's definitely fun and thrilling (what with all the spies and flags).
I made a Java program of this game, but it isn't finished yet (I have to fine tune the AI and the graphics). Afterwards, I'll try to post it back here.![]()

an applet maybe hehehhe
mpxcz, you're right, an applet seems to be a better solution than an application.
Applet seems to be a better alternative because most everyone has Internet Explorer/Netscape Navigator. I'm currently refining the AI and graphics engine of the game (a hobby I started out after my teacher suggested it).
I'm even thinking about making it network-playable.

fyi guys,
there's a thread in barrio alimasag about a GG server in development. they seem to be on the verge on going on public beta and will be looking for beta testers. you might as well let them know if you're interested by posting on that thread. check it out.
I would love to see a competition being held for young and old alike. It can be like chess and with the numerous strategies you can formulate on this game, it would be great to see lots of people going ga-ga over GG again even online or in the boards. Peace!
*sigh*
I miss this game...tagal ko ng di naglalaro nito. I loved playing this game kasi you have to be good at your strategies and vary your techniques in order to win. Kaya ang hirap manalo...
ah definitely one of the best games ever made... i have an old PC game of it...you guys must have remembered it..it was created by a student from AMA i believe and the game was fairly easy...for one player only though... you guys want a copy?i dont think i can get it yet and share it to ya coz i need a 5 1/4 drive to access the floppy disk
i hope they make an online game of it..just like the games at http://www.itsyourturn.com where you play a lot of games online like chess, checkers, chinese chess, backgammon, etc
