Kamuntik na kong nakagat ng limatik nung umakyat kami sa sierra madre at sa mukha ko pa sana. Buti na lang nakita kaagad ng kasama ko. Grabe dun napakaraming limatik, madami ngang kagat yung mga kasama ko, pati sa (singit) hahaha!!! Ang hirap nun continous pa ang bleeding kaya ang nilagay ng mga kasama ko e duck tape. Hello bundukeros at bundukeras!

nag join din ako sa USTMC pero di ako nakaakyat kasama nila. naakyat ko na ang banahaw(5times), makulot(thrice),fami(twice), taal volcano, arayat, batulao(batangas),nagcarlan(laguna),paanan ng sierra madre(infanta quezon,victoria peak(hongkong), ifugao(by bus), ... lahat to katuwaan lang at nature tripping. marami akong photos, fotog kasi ako.

eniwey, sama ako sa fun climb!

bakit di tayo magbuo ng Pinoyechange Mountaineering Club? game na, sali ako dyan!

gusto mo organize na lang tayo ng climb -- minor lang ah-- tapos invite ka ng mga pexers *** masaya hehehe sa mt natib mraming limatik last year yung kasama namin kinagat tapos yung dugo tuloy tuloy muka nga ciang tinamaan ng baril eh..

I'm with them. Batch 97. You give us too much credit naman (hehehe). But yeah, all the application process is really tough. You can't get in by rubbing elbows. You need to work. UPM also believes in their ideologies and that includes environmental concerns and promoting eco tourism.

What mountains have you climbed? How often do you climb? And how do I get in? Can anyone get it even if he doesn't study in UP?

i think to apply you must be a banafide student of UP diliman... you'll undergo rigorous training while serving the application period.. to get in you must be able to climb with them about 6 or 7 times 3-5 minor 2 major ata nde ko sure ill ask my cousin how ok

Ok, kailan tayo buo ng group, ok na sked ko after finals. Middle of October ok na ko. Lahat ng mga mahilig na PEXER invite natin but yung kaya lang dapat baka maging liability pa sa tin. Any UPMountaineer ** paki regards naman ako kay Romeo LEE from (generose!).

FYI, UPM application is during the start of class. They usually have a booth sa AS walk where you can sign up. Isang semester ang application process, which inlcudes diagnostics, lectures, Basic Mountaineering Course, Akyats, Skills Test, etc. It's open to both students and professionals. As long as you're determined, you could make it.
