You might have a hard time finding AMAP as it is "hidden" underneath the bleachers of the Philsports track oval. Most of the guards don't even know about them as the place is primarily for Dept. of Education and ULTRA stadium.

Actually, simonesez, nakita ko na siya. I used to work in the Pasig area (hindi sa motels ha) so after work or on breaks I'd go to the ULTRA to look for the then mythical Muay Thai gym. Natuklasan ko. Pumasok pa nga ako sa isang tunnel na maagiw and madilim. Walang tao. Maayos naman, I liked the place. Spartan and simple. No frills. And perfect privacy.

I remember last year somebody (woofers?) posted a link to a video where a low Thai kick ended up with the attacker's shin broken and the fighter fell with his lower leg flapping. Can somebody post a link to that video? I want to save it.

Yes, I saw that video link too. Nasty! Was it due to faulty training and leg hardening, or was it due to faulty targeting?

Bakit hindi na lang mag-fuse into one Muay Thai org ang AMAP at ATBAP given that their founders (Kru Roberto Valdes, Wanlu Lunaria, and Orlando Lapuz) are all Yaw-Yan fighters and teachers?

BTW, open pa ba ang Cogeo Antipolo gym ni sir Wanlu Lunaria?

Can anybody recommend a good Muay Thai DVD with instructionals on combinations. A lot of MT DVDs on Amazon are just amateur cam shots pieced together and slapped with blurbs like "never before seen techniques."

Can somebody post here about any local kickboxing tournaments, especially where Yaw-Yan, Takadi, Kalasag and other less known local kickboxing styles or schools participate?

There's a Muay Thai event in September featuring fighters from Holland, France, Belgium, England and Thailand against local fighters. Although it's billed as a MT tilt I heard there are also fighters from YY.
