After thinking I knew about the theories of astral projection, I challenged myself to do it for real. Lying in bed relaxed for over 30 mins...eyes closed...

Suddenly...there seems to be movements inside me...something that I can't explain...I was quite excited...

The movement continued and I seem to be watching myself...

and then...

the movement grew so big that I was unable to control it...

I farted so loud...it was like a bomb exploding...

Nyahh.

I guess I didn't apply the theory properly.

I haven't but I've always wanted to. I've been interested in the paranormal for as long as I can remember. I think I find it really hard to relax and let go of whatever it is that I'm thinking at the moment. I think that that makes it doubly hard for me to go into astral projection.

i'm not really a psychic. but in terms of my horoscope, they say that pisceans are intuitive, some pisceans have 3rd eye or 6th eye, ewan ko lang ba kung bakit 2 pa ang tawag doon eh, pareho lang naman ng function. cool dba? pero they say naman na you can improve or develop ur 3rd eye, kase lahat naman daw ng tao may ganun pero siguro hindi lang daw ginagamit. so, kung kayo gusto niyo na magkaroon ng 3rd eye, practice na and develop it.

A psychic friend told me that we all have 3rd eyes. The question is whether they are open or not. Few people have open 3rd eyes, and fewer still those who make use of them.

Here's a tip from a friend. He said that to make the process a bit faster, imagine a rope hanging directly above you from the ceiling. Then concentrate and imagine yourself climbing up the rope.

we tried it once in psych class, where we had a moderator and the environment was controlled. he lead us through the meditation but i gotta admit, it didn't work for me. the others had really cool experiences though! like, they went in other people's houses and described it accurately, even though they'd never been there. try to do it with other people who know what they are doing. good luck! (PS: we did past life regression therapy too!)

How do you open your third eye? Is this necessary for astral projection?

i have had several astral projections already but there's one that stood out from the rest. i knew with certainty that it's real while it's all happening. and during the experience, i felt peace, like as if i'm liberated. i remember thinking to myself that if this is what comes after death, then it's not so bad after all. of course, when i woke up, the peace i've been talking about all drained away and was replaced by fright.

planetary: An open third eye is not necessary for astral projection. As regards your first question, I think you just have to be very sensitive and open-minded. This means that you have to rid yourself of whatever suppositions and doubts about the whole thing. Trying to open your third even if you don't believe that you have one or if you dont believe that it's possible to open it is next to impossible. One reason why most people's third eyes are not open is that they "block" themselves. They build walls of doubts and unbelief. Another reason is fear. Most people would rather not see "unnatural" things, so they knowingly or unknowingly "close" their third eyes by being insensitive to their surroundings.
