I myself want to get into photography but I've never really gotten around to doing it.
(aggravated perhaps by the fact that I don't have a good slr camera! =) )

While on the subject, maybe you can suggest a good buy for a camera. And are there clubs/ organizations for wannabe enthusiasts like me?

Pottery is also big around here in Alabang. What else is there to do in the Muntinlupa area?

  2. #2
Is there a wall-climbing place in Alabang? That's fun!!! I would also like to get back to playing table tennis.

i'd really love to try rowing. aside from the really good exercise u get, being in the water is just as great!

mavi, i'm not sure about the cam thing since i'm not a film major but i have friend who is. i'll ask her, okay? then i'll just post her reply.

I love the water too, weye! My family isn't big on spending vacations on beaches, nor visiting the local pools. I used to spend hours in my tub instead.

I'd love to try windsurfing as well.
Motorbikes are fun (actually, i've only tried those mikee trendy minibikes)so I'm assuming jet skiing will be twice more exciting.

Hey, how about an EB olympics or something like that. A beach party would be fun this coming summer...i know it's still far off but it's an idea worth thinking about.

Let me know when your friend has any info, k? Thanks, guys, for responding!

I've always wanted to try windsurfing (paging Mikoid...). Also, I've always wanted to get into Arnis. I covered it a lot when I was in the sports section of our college paper, and I really think it's so exciting. Quick paced action pa.

Hey! I like that idea of a beach party for Pinoy Exchange. Let's keep that in mind, shall we?

BTW, I had great fun at the EB last Saturday. Galing! We should have another, bigger one, during the sem break!

ChiQui: thanks for the free dance lessons! =)

Mavi and Aragorn: you guys can come with me on summer weekends to Caliraya if you want to learn windsurfing. Our local fleet organizes clinics during the summer -- around P3000 for 2 weekends of instruction, inclusive of equipment. I used to teach some summers ago, and if you guys are gonna learn I'll make sure you learn on my watch!

Me, I'd like to learn tennis. I'm a ping-pong fanatic, and I'm one of the few people on earth who can sit through nail-biting, 4 hour tennis matches.

    Mikoid:

Caliraya sounds good! Hey, Aragorn, what do you think? Me thinks it's time to lose a couple of pounds for the coming summer. I'm prepping up by jogging after school..which i've been planning but has yet to push through...oh well, there's always tomorrow...looks like i'm going to lose that bet with nix...yipes!...

pinhead: mountain climbing? uh, i'm not sure i'm ready for that yet but i like the safety of the wall better.

Hey, has anyone tried underwater hockey? That was pretty fun, too. Cy, you don't have to be an expert swimmer for this one as long as you can hold your breath for a long time...

    Mavi,

You and Aragorn (and anyone interested in learning windsurfing) are welcome to come along. If you want to see what the sport's like, come up to Surfkamp, in Lake Caliraya, on any weekend starting November. I'm pretty sure the wind will be too strong for you to learn, but at least you can see what it's like and enjoy the wonderful camping lifestyle!

I'd like to go bungee jumping, sky diving and scuba diving. If not those, I'd like to go snowboarding. As for hobbies, well.. hehehe... I'd like to get into baking. I don't know how to cook and I haven't found the patience and the skill to finally get into it.

  14. #14
I'd really love to join a Basketball or Soccer organization, league or any group of people who play frequently...does anyone know of such group?

For adventure's sake, I'd love to try ice or line hockey, jet skiing and guns. I've tried surfing in the barren beaches of Catanduanes...you should try it...

  15. #15
I've tried shooting once and it was scary. The guns were way too loud, and there wasn't any glass protection on our sides. Really dangerouns stuff if you ask me.

As for Kaliraya, o' let's go there this November Mikoid. What do you say? Anyone else want to come along? Aragorn, Mikoid, and I, along with some friends went before and it was super fun!

As for baking, it's not too hard. My sis taught me how to make cookies, but I can't do cakes yet.

    Hey Mikoid, Ping-Pong tayo ulit.

  16. #16
hey nix, there's a ping-pong table at our place (sa 6th floor).

i'd like to really learn how to swim well which will be good exercise. also, i like to learn how to improve my bowling. hey nix, bowling ulit?

  17. #17
hi! i guess im a very fraustrated football player.

  18. #18
What else is in the 6th floor? Any gym stuff? I'll get a new Makati Sports Club Card so we can bowl there!!!

    Nix,

I'm game for a table tennis rematch anytime! Hopefully, this time I can get to double-digits...

On table tennis, I took your advice the last time we played and stopped hurrying the points. When I started playing each point like it was the last, I started making late-game comebacks.

Thanks for the tips... hopefully I can take them to heart when we play against one another, jedi master nix.

    - Mikoid
