He will be one of the more remembered spitfire pointguards that really personified Ginebra's style of play and appeal...
His 3/4-court heave that went in to beat my SMB during the late 90s still replays and replays and replays and replays and replays inside my head...

Bal was not as good as a defender as Dindo, not as good offensively as Magsanoc, and not as complete as Johnny A nor Olsen. But he was absolutely CLUTCH, from college ball to the pros.
Give credit to where it's due.

I was a true-blue GINS fan way back in high school during the David-Aquino-Locsin-Hizon-Feihl era... and I loved the guys. This news breaks my heart... Haven't been that excited with PBA games for the longest time na... oh well...
Goodbye, Bal David. That great play mentioned?! My dad nearly had a heart attack when we watchd that one.

Sana bumalik pa sya uli sa PBA, wish ko lang po...
Hopefully pag bumalik si Coach JAwo sa PBA, sama nya uli si BAL, para exciting, well kahit asst. coach na lang sya di ba? basta makita ko lang sya masaya na ko.
