Let me guess.

Yung mga businessmen, professionals at mga artista end of the year nagse-settle ng taxes kaya pwede pa nila i-fix.

It's those big time businessmen who are running the economy to the ground...

A few more of these so called "pro-arroyo" rallies by pro-arroyo gov't officials, at maba-bankrupt na talaga ang pilipinas.

Maybe "2/3 hindi nagbabayad ng tax" because 2/3rds are under the poverty line!!!

That is indirect taxes, siguro ang sinasabi natin dito eh yung tinatawag na Income Tax. Would you imagine paying monthly income tax which eats up 20% of your income, yet ang mga reklamador sa daan eh hindi man lang nagtatrbaho ng maayos at may gana pang manghingi ng pagbabago. Ganung akong nagbabayad ng Tax wanted for the Constitution to work and have changes it peacepul means para hindi apektado ang pangkalahatang ekonomiya. Nakakatakot isipin na tayong middle class work hard to keep our govenrment afloat pero may mga taong gustong pabagsakin ang gobyerno para sa pangsariling kapakanan. Sawa na ako sa nagsasabi na kailangan ng pagbabago, kung gusto nila ng pagbabago they sohuld start by themsekves by being rsponsible enough to know kung ano ang makakasama sa atin at kung ano ang hindi.

Those squaters always blames the government for their poverty, putsa sila tong masyadong matataas ang kamandag sa pagawa ng anak, malakas magbisyo at kung ano ano pa.

newsweek magazine, july 11, 2005 issue, page35, paragraph 2. "The country's narrow tax base compaounds the problem : of the 31 million workers who are supposed to pay taxes, fewer than a third actually do - and most of them are middle class."

up 11 eco report : "and finally blame the taxpayers at large – better yet, the large taxpayers – for what the President has called “a culture” of tax avoidance and tax evasion"

  20. #19
^ So which view do you subscribe to? The Newsweek article blames the middle class while the eco report says to run after the 'large taxpayers'.

Middle-class people already end up surrendering more than 2 months of worth of their income to the government already. In other words, nearly 3 months of every year, you are not working for yourself but for this wasteful government.

If you feel so strongly about people not paying taxes, just make sure you yourself are not guilty of it and stop preaching to everyone else.

This government has absolutely zero moral ascendancy to be blaming people for 'not paying taxes'.
