Taobakoinay: Yup, chances of the skin going back to its original, um, location is higher when you're younger, depending on the type of circumcision done. Dorsal cut incisions have a high risk of returning, while with "German cut", practically nil.

The methods that are common in this country are the dorsal cut and the so-called German cut. Dorsal cut is the type you see done in local barbershops, where you have to chew guava leaves or something. They basically just split the foreskin in half lengthwise. German cut is the type done in hospitals, yung mas malinis tignan. There are still other less common methods like Gomco method, Plastibell method, and Mogen clamp method, but they're not as common here.

I had my circumcision as a child and my house, (rather, my city) was right beside the sea. I had cousins who lived some distance away from the city and the summer that we got circumcised, I noticed a big difference. No pun intended.
OK, it was a batch of boys done in the local hospital. Everyone had german cuts. That lunch, my dad brought me to the beach to have fun - just like I did almost everyday.
A week later, the catgut on my sutures had dried up and started to drop off. I was already aking a bath everyday. My cousins on the other hand had inflammation of their foreskin. This is what is locally known as "kamatis" as it does ballon to unimaginable sizes. On my dad's advice, instead of bringing the guys to the clinic again, we all went for a dip - they were hesitant, but after an afternoon of swimming - all of them shrunk. The next day, their sutures were dry and healing well.

What I believe: human body is a very efficient machine, and will not accessorize just for looks. the foreskin is there to serve a purpose not to be cut. thus i will agree 100% to what Dr Ira enumerated.

What I practice: i was circumcised pre-puberty so like Kuya Danny don't know the difference between with or without foreskin during sex.
I have two sons 7 and 4 years old both born here in US, they are not yet circumcise, I will let them decide if they want to mutilate their body or not. Definitely though if they decided to have it done i will suggest to have a dorsal cut.

My question: do you have study of circumcise vs uncircumcise...

1)in sex performance
2)pre ejaculation problem
3)multiple orgasm

So Doc, can we assume then na pag sa hospital ka nagpa circumcize, German cut yon? Di ko kasi ma picture ang magiging appearance ng dorsal at german, eh. Meron bang distinct difference sa dalawa?

Also, another question po...

There are penises kasi that are "more flaccid" than others, meaning some penises are really short when flaccid but have a considerable change when erect, while others seem much bigger when flaccid pero di masyado ganoon kalaki ang change sa erect stage. Has this got anything to do with the way they were circumcized?

With "German cut", there is no redundant foreskin left. With dorsal cut, you leave some foreskin. Circumcision doesn't have anything to do with the penile length when erect.
